Puppy Christian and his furry siblings make a gift for their mom.
"Alright little ones." Calvin addressed the puppies in front of him. "Your mother will return home soon, so everything must be perfect."
Troy entered the room. "Everything is ready."
Calvin clapped his hands together. "Fantastic." He looked at his children seated on the dining table. "We'll be right back." He said before walking out.
"Don't touch anything." Troy warned before following Calvin.
When they were gone, the puppies immediately scattered. The blonde and red puppy with stunning blue eyes are growling as they play tug of war with part of the table runner.
A red puppy with honey eyes knocked a bottle of sparkling cider and spilled it. The stoic blonde puppy and other red puppy with honey eyes sniffed the grape-flavored liquid before licking it.
The blonde puppy with honey eyes is crawling alongside the red runt of the pack.
The red runt yelped when he slipped on cider and was colored purple. He whined as his blonde sister licked his cheek before walking away leaving a trail of puppy paw prints.
The youngest brother jumped the runt with the others tagging along. Splotches are made as they wrestle each other. The commotion caught the remaining puppies attention before they slipped and glided over.
That's when Calvin is returning with food. "I'm sure she'll love the surprise and, oh no." Troy placed the dishes down and rushed over with Calvin.
"No. No. No. No." Calvin chanted as they attempted to grab the pups. They scooped them up as Tracy entered.
"I'm back." She announced before eying the room and everyone in it.
"My darling. This wasn't the plan." Calvin tried explaining as their children squirm in their arms. "It was supposed to be a quiet mother's day dinner but."
She pulled her husband into an embrace. "I appreciate and love it."
Calvin smiled in relief. "I'm glad." A puppy growling caught their attention, and looked at Troy trying to contain a few of them.
"Look at the mess you little pests made. Now I have to clean it up."
Tracy put her hand out. "Not the table runner." They looked at her like she'd lost it.
"Trace." She ran her fingers through the stained cloth.
"We are not throwing or cleaning a masterpiece my babies created." They look at the cloth covered with puppy prints and splatters with the pups looking as innocent as possible.
"I'm sure we'll find a great place to put it." Calvin said before hanging it in the hallway where it remains untouched.
