Christian's family meets Christian's second foster mom.
Christian, his family, and Jason were exiting a party store carrying bags of decorations. "These will look great at the wedding reception." Sarah chirped.
"Yeah. Yeah." Roger said quickly. "Can we get this show on the road?"
"You're in a hurry today." Jacob told him.
"Luna has a doctor's appointment in a couple of hours, and like hell if I'm missing it." Ashley nudged him with her brows going up and down to tease him. Roger elbowed her ribs in retaliation.
"Christiano?" A woman's voice interrupted them. Looking over, they see a Hispanic woman that appears to be in her mid-fifties.
"Senora Larragoite?" Christian asked before rushing over to give her a hug.
"Que Lindo. You look so grown up. But you are still so skinny. You should drop by so I can make you some posole and enchiladas." She spoke to him in a thick Spanish accent.
"No need to worry. I eat more than three square meals a day."
"That's an understatement." Roger mumbled gaining the two's attention.
"Senora Larragoite. I'd like you to meet my long-lost family. Guys, this is Senora Larragoite. She and her husband were my second foster parents." Christan happily chirped.
Christian's family stared flabbergasted while Jason stretched his hand out to the lady. "It's nice meeting you. I've heard a lot about you from Christian."
"It's a pleasure meeting one of Christiano's brothers."
Christian blushed while his family sniggered quietly. "Actually, Senora. This is Jason. He's, my fiancé."
"Fiancé?" Christian nodded bashfully. "That explains so much."
"What do you mean?" Sarah asked curiously.
"Ever since young Christiano was thirteen, he has never mentioned liking girls, nor did he ever bring one home. What should've tipped me off was the fact he used to admire the men in the novellas we watched."
"Senora Larragoite!" Christian shouted in embarrassment. That's when a girl close to Christian's age was calling for Senora Larragoite. "Wait, is that, Raquel?"
"Si." his foster mom answered.
"She colored her hair."
"Now that she is living with her boyfriend, she does whatever she pleases."
"Oh."
Senora Larragoite noticed Tracy eyeing her intently. "Who is this?"
"This is my mother." Christian told her.
"She is Muy Bonita." Christian's foster mom said before rummaging through her purse and presented Tracy a business card. "Here is my number for if you want to talk sometime." Tracy reluctantly took the card. That's when Raquel called for Senora Larragoite again. "I better get going." She smiled at Christian. "Please stop by for dinner sometime. Jose would be thrilled to see you."
"Would sometime this week be alright?"
"Of course." she gave him a couple of kisses on his cheeks before heading out. Christian smiled and waved at Raquel where she rolled her eyes at him.
"Still the same." Christian muttered before turning his attention back to his family.
"What kind of card is that?" Ashley asked Tracy.
"That's probably the information cards she made for the adoption agency." Christian explained to them. "She's always carried them in her purse."
"You're kidding?" Jacob spoke.
