"Sadie, please come downstairs!" Sadie's father yelled from the kitchen. She walked down the marbled stairs and across the living space. "Yes daddy." She said walking into the kitchen and sitting down on one of the white stools that complemented the grey and white marbled counters. "I won't be home until Thursday sweetheart, I just wanted to see you before I left." Her father was Jonathan Harris. A business man who due to his work, has to leave town on business  trips a lot leaving Sadie alone in that big house by herself. "But you just came back." She said upset. "I know sweetheart but, I'll be back Thursday. Then I promise, I am all yours." He kissed the top of her head and gave her a tight hug. "I sent some money into your account for dinner and shopping. If you need anymore just text me and I'll send some over." He said with a smile before walking out the house and getting into the black limo that was waiting for him down the front steps. Sadie sighed and put on a fake smile while waving to her father from the doorway.

She shut the door and took a look around the giant living room. She walked back to her bedroom and opened her walk in closet. She grabbed a pair of black high waist pants, a white tank top and a brown cardigan to go over the top. She walked to the garage and grabbed her car keys to head to her audition. She exited the house and climbed into her red sports car her dad had gotten her for her birthday. The drive felt long even with the music playing in the back ground of her thoughts. She parked in one of the front parking spots and got out of her car. She stood there looking up at building that towered in front of her. She walked into the front oak doors with confidence leaving with each step she took. She pushed them open and walked to the chairs that had people waiting. She sat going through her singing lines over and over again until a young man came out from one of the many doors.

"Sadie Harris." He yelled, catching her attention. "That's me." She said with a smile as she walked through the door he was holding open and stepped to the middle of the stage. A spot light shined on her making her lift her hand to over her eyes from the brightness. "Are you ready?" A voice came from in front of her. "Yes!" She shouted as she lowered her hand back down to her side as music began to play slowly. She sang over the music giving it her all. "That was amazing Sadie. But, I think it needs more...emotion, more movement." The directer said. "Okay." She said nervously and began to walk off the stage. "Hold on. We want to have you back to audition again for the part once you have worked more on your performance." She continued. "Yes ma'am, you won't be disappointed." Sadie walked off the stage and through the door she entered through.

She smiled to herself as she walked to her car that sat under the partly cloudy blue sky. A breeze swayed through her blonde hair blowing it behind her. She did a happy dance by the side of her car as people walking by looked at her like she was crazy but she didn't care. She opened the door and got in. "Finally! I may not have gotten the part but they want to see me again so I must have been good!" She yelled to herself while turning the radio up to sing along to the music that played throughout the speakers. She drove through town enjoying the setting sun. "I wanna tell my dad!" She said happily as she tapped the call button on her dash.

 *RING* *RING* *RING* *RING*

"Hello, this is the phone of Jonathan Harris. Sorry I am unable to get to the phone at the moment. Please leave your name, phone number and a brief message and I'll get back to you as soon as i'm able." His voicemail played through the car. She sighed and ended the call. "I'll just leave him a text." She said as she typed away on her phone.

'Hi daddy! I tried to call but your busy. I wanted to let you know what the casting directors said so if you could give me a call back it would be amazing to hear your voice. I love you, be safe! <3'

She stuffed her phone into her back pocket and snatched up her purse from the passenger side. She looked over at the mall that was nearby. "Guess I could use another bag." She said as she got out and shut her door, locking it as she walked away. She entered through the sliding doors that were attached to the tan building. The smell of the food court, candles and a variety of different men and women fragrances hit Sadie like a train all at once when she walked through the doors. "That smells amazing." She moaned to herself as she got in line for food. The crowd of people coming in and out of stores with bags filled with clothes and toys scattered the mall. She Sat down and started to eat the chicken and noodles she had ordered. She watched as people came and went to stores by the food court until she finished her food. "Ugh, I'm stuffed." She said to herself as she threw away what little was left of her food. She made her way through the food court ready to go shop for a bag when she noticed her favorite pretzel stand."I could get one of those for later." She said to herself. "Ah, why not." She walked up to the red and yellow stand where a young lady wearing a blue and white checkered outfit greeted her. "Hello, what can I get you?" the younger lady asked. "1 cheese pretzel with 2 cheese dips." Sadie said with a slight smile.

"Good choice, that brings your total to $7.67." The lady said returning the smile. Sadie inserted her card until the payment went through. "Give us a couple of minutes and we'll get that ready for you, thanks!" The lady said. "No worries." Sadie replied. She found a close seat and sat by herself watching family's laughing, eating and having conversations. "Miss...Miss?" The lady's voice said behind Sadie grabbing her attention. "Your pretzel is done."  "Oh, sorry. Thank you!" Sadie Grabbed her pretzel and headed down the long walkway to her favorite bag store. Her phone buzzed as she neared the doors.

She pulled her phone out to see a text from her dad. 'Sorry honey I will give you a call later. I'm sure whatever they said I'll be proud of you!' It read. She looked at it with sadness in her eyes. 'It's okay be safe.' She wrote before putting the phone back into her pocket and continuing into the bag store.
