"Wow!" Madelaine said as she looked out the plane window at the lush island they were circling to land. "Fasten your seat belts ladies and gentleman, we will be landing shortly." The captain said over the intercom. The door popped open for everyone to make their way off the white and blue plane. Green trees made the manor in the distance look stunning. 3 golf carts were waiting to take them down the windy pavement to the manor. Henry looked at the waters edge at an enormous yacht that sat dormant rocking to the waves. "The Trench." He whispered to himself reading the yachts name off it's side. Everybody climbed off the plane and into the golf carts. They began making their way through the forest nearing the manors gates. "Beautiful." Madelaine mentioned to herself while arriving at the manors walk way. It was made of different shaped and sized stones leading to the porch. Henry was the first one off to lead everyone up the wide dark oak stairs fixed with polished wooden railings. He opened the glass double doors and held them open for everyone behind him. They were greeted with a marble grand staircase that complemented the beige outside. Everyone piled into the house, looking around in awe while waiting to be greeted.
"Welcome everyone." A man in an expensive navy suit with diamond cuff links said from the top of the stairs. "I am very pleased you all could make it. My name is Trever Holthum, welcome to my island. I will have my butlers show you each to your bedrooms. Please meet me in one hour in the theater room." He said looking down at everyone before turning and walking out of sight. His golden cane could be heard echoing in the distance. Butlers greeted them and grabbed their luggage then led everyone to their own personal living quarters. The butlers led half of them up the grand staircase while the others got led down a long hallway downstairs.
-1 hour later-
One by one everyone found their way to the theater and took a seat away from one another. Silence took over the room for a few minutes before a dim light filled the stage. "Hello everyone, it is lovely to see you all again. I hope you all found your rooms to be satisfactory." Trever said making his way from behind red curtains that hung from the ceiling along the stages edge. He stepped to the center of the stage, clinking his cane in front of him and resting his hands on its top. He slowly looked at each person. "Wait, we are missing one of you." Trever said continuing to eye everyone. Dress shoes could be heard tapping down the tile hallway towards the theater until they entered the theaters doorway. In stepped a clean shaven man in a tuxedo with black slicked back hair. "You must be our 7th guest." Trever said extending a warm welcome with his arm pointing towards the seats.
"Now, that you are all here. Let us begin. We are going to go around the room and introduce ourselves to one another." He said leaning against a piano that sat towards the back of the stage. "My name is Martin, I work in an office and I'm happy to be here." He said from his seat. "My name is Madelaine, I have 2 beautiful kids and I thank you for letting me be here." She said bowing towards Trever then sitting back down. "My name is Sasha, I'm currently in a movie that's still being filmed but love this opportunity to improve my ability as an actress." She said with a big smile. "My name is Sadie." She said abruptly while looking at Trever. "My name is Fern, My babygirl is currently in the hospital so I hope this helps me increase my abilities to land a role so I can better care for her." He said gripping his beanie in his hands. "My name is Henry, A friend of mine encouraged me to try and get into film so, here I am." He said with a smile and wave to everyone. They all looked over at the man in the tuxedo who sat quietly. He didn't spare anyone a glance before breaking the pause. "Call me D."
"Alright then." Trever said as he leaned off of the piano and made his way down the stages steps and into the front of the seats. "As you all know, this is an all expense paid trip where we will help you better your acting skills not only with each other, but with yourselves. We have 10 days to cover a ton of things from stage presence to delivery." Trever said eyeing everybody once more. "We will take today to continue getting to know one another more over dinner. Meet in the dining room at 5:00pm tonight. Don't be late please." He said looking at D. "We will be having steak and lobster with salad complimented with red wine or water. This dinner will give everyone an opportunity to get to know each other better so that you will work better together. Tomorrow we will begin your lessons. With that, I leave you. See you all at 5." Trever said as he made his way out through the theaters entryway. Everybody stood from their seats and left the theater room. "What do you think about this place so far?" Henry asked Madeline who was looking at an expensive looking painting of Trever that has gold spiraled edging. "This house is beautiful and just being here feels like such a privilege." She responded looking at Henry.
