Clocks could be heard cooing throughout the manor to wake most of everyone up. Everybody got dressed and met in the dining room for breakfast. "This all looks so delicious." Sasha said while she looked at the crepe's, waffles and fruit along with an array of toppings and sauces. "You can say that again." Martin said happily as he approached the side of her with a plate already half full. "Good morning everyone, I hope you all slept well. Please meet me in the theater so we can begin your lessons. After breakfast of course " Trever said with a grin as he walked through the dining room. He had on a dark blue Suede jacket with black dress pants. "Enjoy." He said as he walked around the table, grabbing a bagel then leaving the room.
D entered the room to see everyone already eating. He grabbed his food and took a seat at the end of the table away from the others. "So D, how do you like it here so far?" Madeline asked before taking a bite of her crepe. Chocolate and strawberries oozed from its end. "It's alright." He responded before taking a bite of his food. "So D, what brought you to the island?" Madeline asked anxiously. "Acting." He replied with a glance at her. The clinking of forks and knives on plates echoed off the walls as everyone continued eating their meals.
Madeline thought back to the way her husband had spoken to her before he left. She pushed the anger down as to not let it ruin her trip. D finished his food and left the room in a rush. "Last one to arrive but first one to leave." Martin said before taking a drink of his orange juice. "I guess he's not a people person." Sasha said as she stood up and walked around the table to leave out the opposite side that D had left through. "Looks like we'll find out." Madeline said before leaving the table as well. Some time later they all arrived at the theater taking seats somewhat closer to one another as they waited patiently for Trever to arrive. "Hello everyone." Trever said being lowered from the ceiling on a lift for added dramatic effect. He stepped off the platform with a rose in hand and walked over to Sasha, handing her the rose.
"Alright, let us begin. Today we are going to learn how to put emotion behind the words we speak. Your words must have emotion in order to catch the audience's attention and most importantly draw them in." He said walking back and forth a crossed the stage. "Who wants to go first?" Trever asked to which no one raised their hand. "Look I know you all are nervous but embrace the anxiety. Every set you go to will most likely be with different groups of people. That being said, D, come on up here." D stood up and walked up the steps to the front of the stage. "Your going to play the part of a parent who has to tell their child that their pet gold fish has died." Trever said circling D. "Wait, that's all?" Sadie asked confused. "Sometimes the smallest things, pack the biggest punch." Trever said raising his fist. "Ready when you are." He added. "Your gold fish died." D said quickly with no emotion. "You have to put emotion into your words D. I want to feel as though I did have a pet gold fish that has passed away. So once more, whenever your ready," He finished.
"Son, Your gold fish has died." He said with a hint of sadness in his words. "Not bad but I still need more emotion." Trever said pointing back to his seat. "Who's next?" He asked while D walked to his seat in the back of the room. "I'll go." Madeline sparked as she raised to her feet. "That's what I like to see. Come on up!" He said joyfully. She walked up the steps and to center stage. "Whenever your ready." He said. She took a few deep breaths to calm her racing heart. "Hi sweetheart, I have some bad news. Your pet gold fish passed away this morning. I'm sorry." She said with sorrow as a tear rolled down her cheek thinking of her children. "Perfect Madeline, Good job. Let's give her a round of applause." Trever said clapping his hands causing everyone to join in making blush cover her cheeks. "Your a natural, that's important in this business." He added.
"Now, Lets work in groups as most scenes you all with participate in will be more than just yourself. But first, we will warm up our vocals." He said then began to exhale with his lips together causing them to vibrate. "Mr. Holthum, is that necessary?" Henry asked before continuing the exercise."Yes, it's to warm up your vocal cords." Trever responded before continuing warming up his vocals. "Now that you are all warmed up, let's get into partners. Pick 1 person you'd feel most comfortable to practice a scene with." Trever added. Everybody looked at one another and started to pair up. Madelaine chose Henry, Sasha chose Martin, Sadie chose D and Trever decided to work with Fern.
