6. Amara Won Dhruv

Dhruv's POV:

I've been waiting for an hour now. I'm supervising all my people and friends so as not to leave any loophole in catching Nilani. it's still difficult for me to find the similarities between Amara and Nilani. they are literally poles apart in front of me. 

Nilani was a bright intelligent funny clumsy bright angel. She was always trying to see good in everything. She sees the world as white and black and hates it when people try to achieve anything by immoral means. she was always stopping me from taking any shortcuts while establishing my business. She is not against using connections. for her Social Circle and Connections - the people in your life are something you earn. if they are doing something for you you are earning favours which you need to return asked or not asked. but she is totally against Corruption and Bribing. 

I was born into a political and business family. for us Bribery and corruption are something wrong but since you can't do any changes against it just go with the system but getting caught doing them is wrong.  We need to be smart even when we do wrong things and don't get caught doing them that's kind of become an unspoken family rule. We all may enter Political life into business in the future and we need to start building our public image from a very young age. i think I started to build my public image on my own from the age of 10 before that my parents were taking care of it.

I started to become consciously morally correct only after Nilani entered my life at the age of 14 we started as Classmates who was always like a busy bee, she was academically topper, very involved in sports mainly basketball, karate, and swimming, and also other clubs like a Debate club, writing clubs, Radio club, etc on top of it she was class leader, Vice School pupil head in girls. 

I was Vice School pupil leader in boys. My family forced me to participate in school elections to gain life experience. I am a smart but not an active participant in academic activities. I was more into Sports mostly football, hockey, and Swimming inside school. We started to be together because of school activities. We were not classmates in 9th grade but because of our responsibilities at school, we started to spend lots of time together. I didn't notice how it started but soon she entered into my close circle and I started to do a lot of things just to spend more time with her. 

Just to be in the same class with her I got second place in the whole grade and she got first place in the whole grade. I never planned to show my parents I could be academically strong too because it was kind of a stupid rebellious phase of my way of showing I was not up to the mark to become their heir in politics or business. my dad was a busy powerful politician and my mother was a businesswoman. both of them were not at home most of the time, whenever they were at home they noticed me and my progress just because they wanted to mold me into the heir of their career. I'm just another trophy for them I understood that at the young age of 13. so I started to hide my abilities and showed my talents just in sports because that's my field for venting my frustration.

Everything started changing from the moment she entered my life. I stopped thinking about how to rebel with my parents because their opinion of me was not on my attention anymore. I stopped caring about whether I was impressing or disappointing them. making one girl's attention to be towards me became my life focus. I started to do my best in everything and pushed my limits to become the best version of myself just to stand along with her everywhere.

She did even notice that I was changing myself just to make her notice me, just to make her crazy about me as I'm being crazy about her. more than saying I started to fall in love with her saying she became my obsession will be the apt description.

but this Amara is kind of totally different from her. Her strategic planning is what made people give her the "Businesswomen of the Year" award. within 4 years she created a brand and made the name well known Dominate Internationally is not a small victory. She is known for her mysteriousness while Nilani is very popular wherever she goes. Nilani literally knows everyone around her and interacts with everyone. 

Amara is known for her Dominant character. whatever she plans to get done she gets it done. She never thinks anything is impossible and never takes no for an answer. She always finds a way for everything and her team is very popular for their Efficiency. Whereas Nilani can never order someone she is always polite. She uses her charms and gets the work done in a very polite and humble manner asking for anything. She had a very positive communication mode and she is respectful to everyone who is working or helping her. till now I can't understand how she made people follow her without being authoritative or dominating.

Amara is a very organized and well-planned person. She has a very clear plan for short-term and long-term projects. She is a very Futuristic person. While Nilani is a "go with the flow" kind of person. She doesn't plan for anything in life she just wants to do whatever she is doing as best as she can. that was also one of the reasons she was into everything when she was in school. she just joined in everything she thought would be interesting and struggled a lot in time management. 

I need to always go behind her in school if we need to spend some time together. I need to schedule my calendar according to her to settle for some quality time between us in between our hectic schedules. and after a few years when my life started to get busy, she dropped a year by not starting Postgraduate and followed me just so that we could have quality time together without affecting our relationship. She took this spontaneous decision without any other plans for her personal growth. I can't think of Amara like this who made an unknown business into international ramp walks within 3 years. it needs lots of planning for every step even before the business starts.

Just then it struck me. I'm not blocking the whole city to search for Nilani today, it's not Nilani anymore it's Amara. I'm planning everything against Nilani to stop her escaping from me. but she is not Nilani anymore. She has turned into Amara who I don't know anymore. I have a piece of very basic information on Amara and I don't know how she thinks what she will do. And the way she faked her death and escaped from our marriage, she is not the Nilani who loves me, and her world used to revolve around me in everything. Now she does everything just to get away from me and she has become very powerful and more stubborn than Nilani in the form of Amara.

I noticed the time and realized it was 6.30 a.m. already. I lost to her already and I thought I was ahead of her. I called Vijay and my cousin Samrat to stop the search and come meet me. both of them were in my Condo before 7 and life in Chennai started peacefully totally different from how messed up the night was it all was hidden in the darkness of night and I hope my family won't notice that I went crazy yesterday night. I don't want them to find her out before me. they were never happy that I went crazy for a girl whom they didn't approve of a few years back. I don't want them to do anything and stop her from me again in life.

"What happened why did you call us back before we found her?" Vijay Questioned me while Samrat was observing trying to analyze why I was very calm instead of turning over the whole of Chennai in the name of searching for her. "She has already escaped from Chennai searching for her is of no use now," I informed them both of them were shocked their speechless expression is very rare, and never in my dreams did I think Nilani could bring us down.

"How did you know that? Where did you get the information from and why the hell are you this calm?" Vijay is freaking out for all of us. I looked at the time and informed them " It's already 7 Siva went to her room at 10 yesterday to stop her and she started to run away from me from that time Not its already 9 hours from the minute she found out I'm coming for her I'm damn sure she is not in Chennai anymore. If my guess is correct she got out of Chennai between 3 to 5 a.m. this morning and it is nearly 7 now she might have even reached her destination"

I informed them both of them were speechless. "How did she escape you, Dhruv? how did you let Nilani get away from you?" Samrat at last questioned me. "I made a mistake. I forgot that she is Amara now." I admitted to them.
