4. Searching

Dhruv's POV:

After the call, I started driving to the hotel she was staying in. The owner of the hotel is my best friend, the same person who is investigating her past. It was a miracle that they were in the same place when I contacted him. I tried to go there as soon as possible. But there was heavy traffic tonight. I informed Vijay that I might take some time to come and he can go and inquire before I come. He sent me a message that he was going to check her room before she comes back.

It took me so long to reach there. I tried to go to her room first, but the receptionist informed me to meet Vijay in our penthouse suite. That suite also has our private meeting room and all the records of Nilani. I rushed to the suit as soon as possible. When I reach there, I saw Vijay and all our bodyguards present.

Vijay asked me to sit. I think it is bad news again. "Listen, don't get angry at me. I saw her nilani, that is Amara now. And she is a feisty woman. I tried stopping her. But I was not able to do that. But I made my best. The Bodyguards are now following her in secret. So don't worry that she will disappear again. She can't get away from us. Its Chennai. It's our Kingdom." he tried to console me.

I try to relax. But I have a very bad nagging feeling that I'm going to regret this. Just then we got a call from our Chief bodyguard. He said the car is going towards Marina Beach first. She won't try to relax when she is planning to run. She used to run away like always whenever she doesn't want to face the problem. It is a very bad habit she had and I used to fight with her all the time to change her habit. I think she's buying some time. I asked my bodyguard to check whether she is really inside the car or not? He confirms to me that she had another girl and the driver inside the car.

Vijay then inform me that girl was the person who was accompanying her in her room. And she described what really happened inside her room and how she got away. She's like a very different person. Very Powerful, and confident and commands respect from everyone with her persona. she is not like Nilani at all. she was a kind, sweet, cute, and charming girl. She also had a leadership quality in her but she always made people complete the job required because they loved and respected her. She hates to command anyone, she was polite to all the workers around her irrespective of their roles.

I feel very strongly that something is wrong with the way the night may turn out for me. I don't want to take any more risks mainly when it involves nilani. I don't think she would have not noticed Vijay. She was with me when we arranged the first meeting, She used to help me with maintaining all my contacts and their information on special occasions so I send out wishes or attend parties accordingly. I think she would have realized I noticed her already and started to escape from here already. when she is hiding from me for 5 years I don't think she planned to stop that anytime soon since I didn't make any big moves yet.

Just as I guessed my chief bodyguard informed me that the car is sharting to travel towards the airport. As expected, she started running away from me again. I think I was not able to find her easily because she was not in India at all she was overseas. If I find out which place she is planning to travel to again, I think I can also find out her hideout. But will I be able to find her again if she gets out of India from me? I can't take this gamble, it's a big loss for me if I miss her again.

I sent out a team to book tickets for all the flights available for the next five hours so that I can find her hideout. If she plans to get on a flight, before she completes her immigration process I can use my people to get hold of her, but for the safety side at least one of my people will be on the flights which take off in the next five hours from Chennai. But I don't think she will be this easily traceable. If this is a trap I'm setting for her she may do the same and set one for me. What other ways can she use to get out of Chennai in the short time possible without getting noticed easily?

It used to be the drill we both will solve when I'm running away from my father. more than me she knows all the loopholes to hide from powerful people. Now I need to beat her in the game she is best at. I always thought it was not that risky process when it comes to planning. Now I think I underestimated her knowledge a lot, as she made it look like a very easy thing in front of me.

I went to the meeting room which I reserved for the transportation sector. I want to take the role of transport minister after the next election so I'm well aware of all the Government transport available to get in and out of Chennai. I don't think she will take the bus or train as her backup plan. I don't think she will take a passenger flight if she wants to hide from me. I can easily track her, she won't take that risk.

When it comes to Private Public transportations all of the business is under our companies or under my friends. Not even one company is spared, if we are not having the ownership we have their shares. She even knows about this so she won't take a private bus or any services.

Land and Air are out of options for Public transportation they may use private cars or jets. I need to have a check post at all the roads leading out of Chennai I called the city commissioner and ordered him to have a checkpoint for drunk driving testing but my people will also join with them to search for Nilani. I can't trust to delegate my work to other people fully. I can't risk with Nialani she has a wide network in India.

I asked Vijay "Use your connections to monitor all the private jets. if anyone spots nilani in any private airstrips stop their private jets before it gets out of the runway. I need you to be in the major airstrips and any of our friends at all air strips, I don't think anyone will dare to go against us here. if you find any problems give me a call I will be there to handle the situation."

He was watching me all this time. I think this is the first time I started to plan something against someone after a very long time, maybe this is the first time I'm doing this after Nilani disappeared from my life. She was always with me from my eleventh grade whenever I plan something, be it something Mischeveous or getting away from my dad or even something related to my business she was always with me acting as a Devil's advocate and improving my plan. I always thought she was timid and found any points possible under the sky to stop me from going against others. But only after she went away from me did I realize she was acting as Devil's advocate and made me grow stronger.

Vijay bought me back to reality by reassuring me " Don't worry I will make sure she doesn't set foot in any flight or jets to get away from Chennai tonight. I already asked our friends to help you and they started to also use the connections to help us. most of them are already on their way to check if any private jets is planning to take off today. They will stop anyone who has Nilani with them" he promised me.

I thought everything is alright when it strikes me that I forgot about water transportation. Shit, why did I delay till now to think about ships? I called my cousin and informed him to stop all the ships which are planning to get into the sea I wanted him to check all the ships thoroughly be it a fishing boat, cruise, or any yacht if he spotted Nilani in anything, I don't want the ship to sail.

He was surprised I contacted him early in the morning and more than that when I mentioned Nilani, he is the only person who was with me when I went to the accident spot and got Devastated hearing the possibility Nilani may be dead. All the people in both our family thinks she is dead in that accident but I never believed that. He saw how helpless when I lost her and supported me in searching for her till now. "Don't worry she can never get away from you through BOAT today. I will take care of this matter personally. You can handle the other sides without any worries". He promised me.

I noticed It's already around 4 a.m. I don't think she can get away from me this time for sure. I used all my networks and blocked all the exits. It's highly impossible to get out of Chennai now without me noticing her. I will get her this time for sure.
