CARL POV:
"Amber, you need help!" I gasp as she started to cough up blood again.
"I don't want you to die!" She yelled.

She started heading for cell block D.
"Daryl?" I yelled.

He came racing over.
"What's wrong?" He questioned looking around for Amber.

"She's sick, and she started coughing up blood, she heading into cell block D." I answered him, tears welling up in my eyes.

The minute I finished he said for me to follow him.
"There's a glass window, we can visit her there."

He started to walk away.

"You coming?" He asked.

"Yeah I'll meet you there." I called as I jogged away.

I decided to go and tell Andy before I did anything else. I figured it would be best since she's her sister.

I walked into cell block C.

"Yes?" She asked looking up from the book she was reading.
"Amber got the sickness. She's coughing up blood." I finished walking out, avoiding questions.

I herd her crying into her pillow, trying to be quite so no one could hear.

Daryl walked in front of me and put his hand on my shoulder.
"Amber wants to see you."

I nodded. I headed towards the glass. I wanted to leave because I couldn't see Amber like this.

She was coughing a lot now. She was covered in blood.

I figured that I should just tell her.

"Amber, I-" I was cut off by a loud, terrifying scream.

Amber turned and started to run, she took grip of her knife.

I watched her turn the corner until I couldn't see her any more. I walked outside and found my dad. We started walking. The perimeter of the prison.

"So. Where's Amber."
"Cell block D."
"Oh. I-" before dad could finished we could hear the fence, we started to run. There were walkers climbing over each other, collapses the fence and are now on the inside.

"Carl get a gun!!" Dad shouted. I got a gun and ammo,

"You reload here, shoot here, aim here!" Dad showed me as we ran towards the gate.

We started shooting the guns angrily. One after the other, dead again.

This world isn't fair.
Amber.
Her name kept repeating in my mind.

Soon my gun ran out of ammo, there were only two left, dad had them. There were dead corpses everywhere.

"We got the medicine!" Hershel yelled.

We all rushed to cell block D, Hershel was helping some people while I looked for Amber. I turned and saw Daryl knees on the cold floor.

I rushed over and saw Amber, her eyes and mouth, face and hands full of dry blood

Hershel rushed over and shoved medicine down her throat, her eyes fluttered open.

AMBERS BACK STORY:
"We're going to go to the evacuation site." My mom announced.

We packed our bags with clothing, food, water, kitchen knives. We left and walked to the site.

My mom gasped,
"Hide." She wispered.

My brother stayed with my sister, my mom went into the bush and I went into the ally.

We heard two gunshots and a bunch of muffled voices.

"It's the apocalypse." I wispered to myself.

"Follow me." I motioned Andy over.

She finally reached me. I grabbed her arm and headed for the woods leaving mom and my brother behind.

"Come on!" I yelled at her when she stopped.
"I can't." she wispered.
"Well you have to if you want to survive!" I yelled again, clenching my fists.
"Hide." I wispered as I herd something in the leaves.

It was a walker. A girl, with pretty much bald, yellow dress with baby blue flowers, and of course covered in blood.

"Aim for the head." I told Andy. I showed her and stabbed her right in the middle of her forehead.

Another one came.
"No!" Andy yelled as she started to sob.
"What's the matter?" I asked her.

Then I turned around to see the walker.
"Mom?" I asked looking at its familiar face.

My sister started running towards her like she's not dead at all.

"Andy!"

I cought up with her and passed her, stabbing my dead like mom in the head.

She fell to the ground.

"You killed her?!" Andy screamed.
"She's the living dead Andy, we have to fear them." I mumbled.

"No!" She yelled.

She started to run, I ran after her. She headed towards a building, still, I ran after her.

My sister entered the building, then let out a blood curdling scream. It was the end.

Then. I looked over at the building. An explosion, bombs.

I knelt down behind a desk faced down. I started to smell smoke and ran.

As I was running there was some abandoned buildings. Ran inside one of them. It looked completely empty, it also looked like it was already cleared out.

I kept running until I made it up to the roof. I glanced in the direction I came from.

Smoke rising higher and higher. Walkers, roaming out into the harsh sun. Eating anything.

I noticed a small girl running. It couldn't be a walker. Walkers cant run like this person was.

Then it hit me.

Andy.

I tried to yell as loud as I could. She couldn't hear me.

I pulled out my dads hunting knife from my bag. My dad left us when I was seven but he left it with us.

I sat on the roof, my legs dangling down below me. No tears came out, just anger.

I looked around me. I noticed a walker In a military uniform. I grabbed my knife, tilted his head back, and stabbed it in the neck, making the knife reach his brain. Leaving it dead again on the ground.

I took of his vest and through it on. It fit well. I checked the pockets for anything useful.

Grenade, mini pistol, ammo, MRE's and some other stuff.

I grabbed my bag, and walked across a wooden platform to another roof.

I took the wooden platform down so no walkers could walk across.

I slept there for the night and I woke up the next day. This is life now.
