That night I woke up and realized it was dark. I guess the nap I took lasted a little too long. I thought to myself. I slowly stood up slightly gasping in pain. I walked along the creaking floor of the RV hopping no one would notice me. As I reached the door somebody grabbed me and through me against the floor. I gasped and screamed flailing my arms. The boy with the sharp blue eyes jolted out of his tent as he saw me on the ground.

"Nobody knows what we are going to do okay?" The voice spoke as a hand was reaching my belt buckle. He covered my mouth. Then a man in a sherrif outfit came in.

"Shane what are you doing?" The sherrif asked.

"Teaching her a lesson." The man replied simply.

I stared helplessly at the sheriff then the boy.

I bit Shane's hand and he removed it from my mouth momentarily.

"Help me!" I yelled trying to stand up. The boy ran over but the sherrif held him back.

"Rick why are you doing this?" The man known as Shane, asked.

I senced someone grab my shoulder. It was Carol. She took me away as there conversation faded and I saw Rick hold a gun right at Shane's forehead. But I heard no gunshot. I best pray he's dead tomorrow.

"What happened sweetie?" Carol asked

"Don't call me sweetie." I mumbled

"I was going to walk out of the RV when that man Shane, I think it was, tackled me. Then he said that no one needed to know about this and as you can see I need to re-buckle my belt. " I responded.

"Did he, you know?" She asked

"Almost," I said quietly.

Next morning I got up and limped out of the RV with my wound cleaned up still slightly bleeding. I limped around the camp with a woman, Lori who is the boy's mother. I still don't know his name.

"Can I have my knife back?" I whined "I don't feel safe." I said quietly. The man with the crossbow, Daryl came over "If that girl don't feel safe, give her back her knife." He continued, " I don't feel safe and I got this" Daryl said holding up his crossbow.

Lori replied, "Daryl! She's just a kid!"

I slowly backed away and I herd a groan.

I reached in my pocket for my knife but it wasn't there.

"Dang it!" I grumbled

I reached for an arrow that belonged to Daryl, he was practicing, and I gripped the arrow and violently stabbed the walker in the head multiple times as Daryl looked in pride, but Lori in horror. I stood up and handed Daryl the bloody arrow.

"Found it, found a walker. I killed it too." I said. Lori took a step back and I stood next to Daryl.

"Damn you need yer' knife back." Daryl replied.

I got up and saw the boy watching me, watching every move I made.

"What are you looking at," I said interrupting his thoughts.

"Hi I'm Carl!" He replied

"Amber." I say quickly.

I don't think anyone at this camp expected me to be tough. Then I looked down at my clothes. Then looked up again to see everyone staring.

"I best be gone." I called to everyone.

As everyone staring at me I looked through my bag to find my knife. But it wasn't there.
