Chapter 21 Everyone has someone

CARL POV:
The sun shun bright into the windows. I woke up with the sun shining into my blue eyes.

"Amber?" I wispered, rubbing my eyes.

"Aye, your up late." She sat on her bed lacing her black converse.

"I am?" I asked.

"Well i don't know, it seems later." She laughed.

I laughed too, getting up. I picked out my clothes and went to the washroom. I knocked on the door to see if there was anyone inside.
"Occupied!" Andy yelled from inside.

I laughed and went back to the room.

"Occupied again?" Amber asked with a smile.
"Yep."
"I'll be out in a few minutes here."

I nodded. She left the room, I started putting on my black shirt. And then I changed my pants and put on my shoes. I walked out to the  living room.

Everyone was looking kind of confused. Amber was looking out the window, her crossbow in her right hand and her left hand holding the curtain. Then she was out the door.

I followed her outside. In the bushes she was hiding and looking through the leaves. I poked my head through too. We saw Daryl kneeled down. At gun point.

AMBER POV:
Daryl was there, in the grass at gunpoint. Wait. No. He was holding the gun.

"Daryl!" I yelled. Roadkill came running.

"Carl get roadkill." I told him as I approached Daryl.

I was to late.

He was a goner.

Author: Ha, just kidding. Whatta joke! Lmao. It's pretty bad.

I was to late, Rick had already grabbed gun from Daryl's grasp.

"Amber?" Daryl looked over to me, "oh my god, I thought you where dead, I'm so sorry, I just thought that maybe I would never see you again. So I just thought."

"It's okay." I told him.

I hugged him. He smelled kind of funny, but what can you do?

"Is Carl alive? Judith?" Rick stuttered.
"Yeah, Carl brought roadkill back to the cabin we are staying at. And Judith is there too." I told him.

"Where?"
"Down over there. I'll bring you there."
I smiled.

Michonne came into view.
"How many are at this 'cabin' your talking about.
"7 kids and 2 babies."

"They better not be yours" Rick and Daryl mumbled at the exact same time.

The group followed and the cabin roof came into view over the hill.

We opened the door and roadkill came running.
"Hey boy!" I petted his head.

"Dad!" Carl yelled running to him with Judith in his arms.

"Mom?" Sam stood with Camron in his arms."
Michonne came to tears, "oh. Oh my. Sammy, come here" she cried. Sam smiled and ran towards her.

Michonne has kids? I thought.

Then, Kim started to cry. Gabriel didn't make it. He died on the way to finding us. Sam hugged her.
"It's okay, it's okay, I'll take care of you like your mine." Michonne smiled, tears streaming down her face.

"Sinse when has Michonne been so. What the word? Lovable?" Andy wispered in my ear.

We both laughed.

Everything all happened at once. I was overwhelmed. I walked to Carl and my room and say in the closet. I left one door open.

"Um. Amber? Whatcha- Um doing in the closet?" Carl asked with a bit of a laugh.

"Well when people started killing other people and people starting turning and eating, I would sit in my closet to cope, it was mostly with the bullies at my school but now, I just sit in here to soak everything in." I replied.

"Why would people do such a thing to you? Your such a cool person to be around." He smiled as he sat beside me on the outside of the closet.

"I was that dork that sat alone at the lunch table, played video games, played the drums, was antisocial and had anxiety. So pretty much all those combined." I gestured myself.

"The girl I've always wanted." Carl wispered.

I looked at him, "nah. More like that weird girl who dosnt talk to anyone and has a hot twin sister," I replied

"Nope, still the girl I've always wanted." He repeated.

"More like the other girl that stands no chance next to my sister."

"Well I guess you got lucky, people care about you more, am I right?" He laughed.

"Shut up." I lightly slapped his knee.

We kind of just sat there. Looking around. Thinking about nothing. Then eventually we got up.

"Everyone has someone." I looked over to Michonne, Sam, Kim and Camron.
