Chapter 9#

How amazing. It's the day. The day I was dreading. I never knew I would get married so early. I had plans in life, but I guess that just got ruined because of some selfish people.

But what can I do.

Right know I'm in the dressing room getting my makeup done. I already have my dress on and my hair. Their just adding some little things. Not that I really care if I look good or not, with our with out makeup. I know I'm beautiful and I don't care if people have something to say about my beauty, because if anything. They're just jealous.

"Were all done miss" the lady who was doing the finishing touches spoke. I actually haven't even seen my parents since I went home with Hyunjin that day. Again, not that I had a choice. My life is being controlled all of a sudden.

But here my mom was, sitting on the couch, scrolling and tapping along on her phone, not even complimenting me one bit. What did I do in my past like that lead to this?

If only I could go back in time.

Suddenly the door swung open revealing a lady. "Hello Ms. Yuri you may cine out and when the huge doors open and the music starts, please make your way to the stage" she bowed at me then to my mom before leaving.

Then finally, my mom looked at me. She eyed me up and down and I just hoped she would say something nice and a small smile of hope appeared on my face.

"Let's go, we shouldn't make the people wait" she said standing up and leaving the room. My smile slowly faded and I fought the urge to let tears out. How could my own mother not even say anything nice to me after not seeing me for a few days.

I fanned my eyes with my hands to dry out the tears so I don't mess up the make up the stylist spent her time with.

I stood infront of the huge door with flowers in my hand, and soon music started played and the huge doors opened revealing a very beautiful, well decorated place filled with tons of people I don't know. Some people were even foreigners. Not that I have a problem with that.

I slowly walked to the little stage where Hyunjin and the priest are at keeping a fake smile on my face. I want to cry so much right now. Everyday the only thing I think about "why would my parents sell me off like this?"

I didn't even dare to look at Hyunjin so I don't even know what he looks like. I made eye contact with a few people trying not to stare at Hyunjin.

As soon as I made it to the small stage, the people who were cheering and clapping have quiet down and waited for the priest to start.

"You look amazing princess" Hyunjin whispered. I just rolled my eyes. "You don't look too bad yourself either" I whispered back. I mean, I wasn't lying, he looked so handsome, I will literally melt if I keep staring. So I looked away.

After some words from the priest and me getting nervous second by second. The most awaited part by everyone...except me has come.

I finally looked up to Hyunjin to see him nervous but as soon as he noticed me looking at him, it's like the nervous side of him ran away. He smirked and winked at me.

"Do you, Hwang Hyunjin, take Shin Yuri as your beloved wife, promise to keep her safe and take care of her till you grow old?"

He didn't even hesitate as he said "I do!" While looking me deep in the eyes. He seems to want to marry me. Why? Lately I have been nothing but rude to him. Oh right, its arranged. But still-

"Do you, Shin Yuri, take Hwang Hyunjin as your beloved husband, promise to take care of him and keep him safe till you grow old?"

This time, I hesitated, unlike him, I looked around and observed the room, I could see my father glaring at me. I guess this is it. With just two words.

I could hear people start to whisper among themselves questioning what's taking me so long. I felt a squeeze on my hands and I looked down at my hands that are intertwined with Hyunjins. Bringing me back to reality.

"I..do" I said slowly and quietly, not like how Hyunjin said it. So confidently. "Then I pronounce you both Husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride" he lifted my Vail slowly. Is he actually going to kiss me? Please no. He tipped me over kissing the side of my lips making it look like he kissed me. Luckily he didn't actually kiss me. "Don't worry princess, I won't do anything to you.... unless you want me to" he whispered in my ear as he brought us back up.

How could he say that? This-

We could hear all the cheers and claps. People slowly came up one by one and congratulated us.

After that everyone got they're food and started eating and the rest of the time everything went pretty normal.

Eventually our parents came over to us and we all sat together. They just talked while me and Hyunjin stayed quiet. "Well kids, you guys will move into the palace and Hyunjin you can finally have throne within a few weeks, or days. But don't worry son you will get it soon" Hyunjins father said patting his shoulder.

Hyunjin just smiled at his father and bowed his head muttering a little thank you. The rest of the night went smoothly and everyone enjoyed they're time here, eventually they started leaving one by one after congratulating us one last time.

Finally I'm home. Well my new home. I can finally take this stupid dress off. It's so uncomfortable. How do women deal with these. Wait- my clothes. I dint have any clothes.

"Shit" I said to myself. Unfortunately, Hyunjin heard it. "Whats wrong princess?"

"I don't have any clothes to change into, and this is so uncomfortable and heavy" I whined my legs trembling, struggling to keep their balance.

"Oh, no you actually have some new clothes that my mother bought for you" he smiled. Damn that smile, why does he have to smile at me like that. I started blushing. Crazily.

"Oh, uh tell your mom i said thanks." I said awkwardly not know what to say next.

"No problem, anyways let me lead you to our room"

Again, this is where this Chapter ends. Ik it's pretty lame and boring cuz it's mostly about the wedding but whatever.

I'm tired so that's why I'm ending the chapter here, good night stays.
