"Who are you?"

I knew who it was. That voice belongs to none other than Hyunjin. What did I expect, that he wouldn't turn up to his own mansion and I'm safe here?

Unbelievable.

But he didn't recognize me. Was it because I died my hair? It got longer throughout the years but I cut it again because I liked shorter hair better.

I didn't turn around. He saw me before but not up close. But now he will if I turn around so I can't.

"W-what?" What am I supposed to say?

He stayed quiet and I was just getting nervous. Why isn't he saying anything. I heard his steps coming closer till I felt his presence and hot breath on my neck.

"Do I know you?" Being with him for about a year was a way I got to know him way better. I could tell he was smirking. He definitely was.

"N-no- i mean yes I-i am a m-maid h-here" he has maids and I'm sure he doesn't really memorize their faces right? Right.

"Oh really?" He moved back.

"Yes really" I don't know why I'm not stuttering now but I'm glad I'm not.

"Last time I remember I didn't have any maids though" he walked in front of me and I immediately put my head down using my hair to cover my face.

"I- haha did I said maid? Haha I meant I'm a-" shit what do I say. "A what?"

"A-a"

"Pick your head up" I was glad he interrupted me because now I don't have to think hard, but at the same time I'm not because he just asked to show my face.

"I cant"

"Why not"

"I'm having a bad allergic reaction and I look really ugly so I cant" I'm surprised I actually came up with a good enough idea.

"I've seen bad allergy reactions so this is nothing big. Pick your head up" shit what now.

"Bu-"

"I'll do it myself"

"You can't- you can't touch me without my permission" I shouted still keeping my head down. I don't even know where I got all this confidence from.

"Yah, Hyunjin leave the girl alone. You dint know her, she my friend" I could never thank anyone more than now.

I am so glad Yeji came. But wasn't she the one to leave me here? Whatever. She came back and that's all that matters.

"Well why didn't she say that?" I still kept my head down.

"Doesn't matter, now let's go my friend" it's a good thing she didn't call me Yuri or else everything everything would have become a mess.

I quickly ran to where her voice was coming from and fixed my hair. We quietly went up the stairs and entered a room. Which I assume is hers.

"Thank you" I said as soon as we entered. "Don't thank me. Sit down" she pointed at the bed and I obeyed.

"Why did you leave him?" I knew she was going to question me but I didn't think they would be like this.

"Its because I found out he was a Mafia" I knew at some point in my life I would have to stop hiding. Now there's no point in being scared.

"How?"

"Well I realized he was never home most of the time and we would always argue" I felt like crying even thinking about our old memories.

"Okay"

"Till one day I found out I was pregnant and I was so excited to tell him about it but he never gave me time, not even the few minutes I needed" I paused taking a deep breath then continued.

"Then of course we had another argument and I think it was a few days later, he said he would be gone for the day then when he left I was gonna go upstairs till I saw the door-"

"You saw the door?!" She sprung up from her seat. "Y-yeah,"

"Fuck"

"Why? What's wrong?"

"Nothing, just keep going"

"Oh.. okay" though I wanted to know I knew it's best if I kept shut.

"I went in the door and went the desk there saw the papers read through them and that's how I found out then I packed a huge bag while he was gone and then the next I left after about an hour I think before he left."

"Well shit,"

"What?"

"Nothing just go home ill lead you out and make sure Hyunjin doesn't stop you."

"Oh okay, thanks"
