"Are the troops ready?"

"Yes."

"And the supplies?"

"Yes"

"What about the horses?"

"They're ready too."

"And the gear-"

"Erwin calm down."

Erwin and you were in the supply room just after you had met with the officials one last time to get over your plan. Despite Erwin talking like he always did- cool and calm, you could still see the specks of worry in his eyes.

Now here you were, after dragging him out of the meeting to let all of his worries out.

"I've double checked, sorry, triple checked everything that we have to take. All the food supplies, first aid, and the gas are stocked completely. Heck, I even made sure all the soldiers' healths are alright!"

Erwin furrowed his brows. His face wasn't as worriedly contorted as one would expect since all his emotions were evident in his irises. He put a hand in his pocket, thoughts running through his head. "I know, Y/N, but this is something we've never done before." He confessed, sighing and sitting back on one of the empty crates behind him.

"I understand, but it's always been like that before every expedition we've set on. Remember the first expedition we had to go out after Wall Maria was destroyed?" I asked him, sitting right beside his worried stature on the crate.

"Yeah..."

"Do you remember it was basically one of your first mission as the Commander of the Survey Corps? Yet you handled it so well when more the half of us were freaked out. Just like this mission, none of us had experienced one of the Walls breaking down before!" You didn't want to lie to yourself, but you were getting frustrated bit by bit. Erwin being nervous about this was making your already shaken nerves worse than before.

The man beside you closed his eyes, taking in a deep breathe in and letting it out. You focused on his features, noticing how the previous anxiety was switched back to his calm self. He looked over at you with a gentle smile and got up. "Forgive me for doubting myself. And thank you, Y/N. It would've been a mess without you here." He lifted his arm up, beckoning you to come up and hug him.

You gladly engulfed him in an embrace, allowing yourself to be the support he needed. You were about to tell something to him until a sudden cough snapped you both apart.

"Such scandalous actions before one of the greatest expeditions the Survey Corps are going to do, Commander?" Levi leaned against the door frame, his arms crossed as he looked at the both of you with a raised eyebrow.

Erwin panicked, his arm waving around as if to clear a misunderstanding. "I swear I didn't do anything to her!"

You laughed and whispered. "Are you seriously getting scared of Levi?"

He glanced at you briefly, with panic still in his eyes. "Doesn't he have a crush on you?"

That definetly did get a laugh out of you. You and Levi had decided last night that you weren't going to announce yourself as a 'couple', but neither would the both of you hide it. If the people wanted to find out, and succeeded in finding out, then neither of you would have a problem with it.

You stole a little glance from Levi, who had the same look of understanding in his eyes. The sliver of mischief in his face gave you a butterflies in your stomach. He was clearly enjoying this.

Suddenly, he stumbled forward. Hange came running in through the door, completely ignoring Levi as he glared at their excited frame that jumped into the room. "Are we having a reunion or something?" They circled around us and looked excited.
