Imani had gotten her life back together after the incident and was now living the life of a fast rising new model. She could finally say she had gotten her dream life until some of her past comes back to haunt her

"F.U.C.K, yea friend you can keep..."
Imani chose to start living like she was single but hadn't actually broken up with April yet. As far as the media knew her and April were still together.
Her and April had gone back and forth all week about her going out the night before she had to fly out to New York but in the end no matter what April said, she was going out regardless.
Seated at her vanity with a lacy, short body con dress on, so lacy the dress was practically see through, with a dark green matching lingerie set on underneath she sat her flat iron down now that her hair was straightened.
She combed her fingers through her freshly done hair as her girlfriend walked into the room. "You're going out with that on?" Imani raised an eyebrow at the ginger haired girls words before speaking.
"Is there an issue with what I have on?" She glared at her through the mirror waiting to hear a snobby response. "I mean yea, you can see what's under the dress. I feel it'd be better to leave it all to the imagination."
Imani said nothing she just went back to fixing herself up. "Imani, hello I'm talking to you." Everything April said to her recently just seemed to easily irritate her so she chose to ignore her most times.
"I heard you, I just don't care because I'm not dressed up to appeal anyone's eye or imagination. I'm dressed like this because I'm going out and this is what I want to wear and I like it."
There was a certain "matter of fact" tone to her voice when she spoke. She chose not to show anyone verbal aggression or irritation to not draw out the pointless conversation being held.
For a second Imani felt that April had forgotten who she was or what she does for work. She's practically a world renowned model, her body is her money so if she chose to flaunt it every now and then she could because she can.
Her modeling for magazine covers and clothing campaigns practically naked wasn't an issue but the moment she wants to wear something sensual and revealing for a night out it becomes a problem. "I'm just saying I don't think-"
The small girl cuts her girlfriend's sentence short while putting her shoes on. "And I'm just saying I don't care. Anymore questions, comments or concerns before I leave?" She innocently smiles at April as she sighs shaking her head going back to what she was doing on her phone previously.
"Thats what I thought." She grabs her purse leaving out of the room about to head out of the house but not before grabbing her newly bought bottle of casamigos from the fridge and leaving out of the front door.
