Lisa stared blankly at the two men in front of her, "I don't have a legal guardian's permission."

"What? Why?" Namjoon asked.

"Does it look like my parents are standing here right now?" She said, "They're not gonna come up here to sign the consent form anyways."

"Why not? You need at least a legal guardian's signature to get a passport. Can't they fax over a copy of one of their IDs?" Seokjin suggested.

"They're not gonna do that. Neither of them will." Lisa shrugged, "We'll just shove me in a suitcase if we ever have to travel on a plane."

"We're not shoving you in a suitcase," Namjoon said sighing, "Why won't they give you their signature?"

"My dad would probably send a hitman to rape and kill me before he ever did something nice for me and my moms nowhere to be found." Lisa laughed.

"That's not funny Lalisa." Seokjin deadpanned, "We need a signature."

"The suitcase idea sounds perfectly fine to me."

"WE'RE NOT SHOVING YOU IN A SUITCASE!" Namjoon rubbed his temples, "We'll figure something out."

Lisa looked at them questioningly, "Why does it matter so much?"

"Because we need to be able to take you with us." Seokjin said, "Why won't your dad give you his signature?"

"Cus' he's a piece of shit that only cares about himself. He hates me. He's always hated me. I was the only one who ever took his fucking bullshit. He's just pissed that I threw all his stuff into the backyard and used it as wood for a bonfire." Lisa explained, "Speaking of which, I need to check on the kids-"

"Lisa." Namjoon said placing his hands on her shoulders, "They're not your responsibility. This," He motioned at everything around him, "is all about you now."

"But-"

"No but's. You shouldn't feel responsible for all of your siblings. You were only a child when you started raising your entire family. That's not fair."

"Life's not fair." Lisa protested.

"You need to take care of yourself, do something for yourself." Seokjin smiled softly, "We're giving you the opportunity to be a stupid kid. So be a stupid kid."

"I can't." She stammered, "I fucking can't. I grew up alone, I didn't rely on anyone else. I can't rely on anyone. I learned that the hard way."

"You can. Just let us-"

She cut him off, "Can I go back to my bedroom to sleep now?"

With a defeated sigh, Seokjin said, "Yeah, go ahead kiddo."

"Night." She said walking off.

Namjoon turned his attention to Seokjin, "She's refusing our comfort. Why is she refusing our comfort?" Namjoon paced the kitchen, "We just want to help her."

"I know, Joon." Seokjin sighed, "She doesn't trust that we're actually trying to help her. She never had that, you know? Imagine your whole life you're brainwashed to believe that you should never listen to anyone who says they love or care about you. You wouldn't trust anyone either. We need to give her time. She'll come around eventually when she realizes that we are here to give her support, not bring her down."

"I just-" Namjoon bit the inside of his cheek, "I can't believe she went through all of that and she just.."

"Pretends like she had a normal childhood? Yeah, I know. She's got a hell of a poker face." Jin added, "This whole situation is fucked up. It's unbelievable. I want to take her as my own, you know? I feel like if I just adopted her, maybe she'd see that I'm serious about wanting to give her the life she never had."

The room was silent for a moment, "Why not adopt her then?"

"First of all, her parents would either need to be dead or disown her for that to work," Seokjin raised an eyebrow, "And second of all, I won't be eligible to adopt her if I don't have a spouse. They'll want to see that I'm married so they know I'm financially stable enough to support a child."

Namjoon pondered this for a moment, "Marry me."

Seokjin looked at him, his mouth agape, "WHAT?!"

"You heard me. Marry me." Namjoon stood and grabbed Seokjin's hands, "We can legally adopt her."

"You're not serious.." He looked up, "Are you?"

"I'm so serious."

"Namjoon.." Seokjin shook his head, "This is crazy. I mean, we're not even dating! Neither of us have ever even talked about feeling like that toward each other before! And dating is one thing but being married is a whole other thing and I haven't even told you that I'm in love with you yet so I just-"

"Hyung," Namjoon whispered and grabbed his hips, "Shh." He said before pressing his lips to the boy's soft ones. Seokjin relaxed his shoulders and wrapped his arms around the taller man. When they pulled apart, eyes full of stars, Namjoon smirked, "Marry me."

Seokjin smiled, "Okay."
