"Is everyone excited to head to Europe?" Namjoon asked when they had all boarded the private plane.

"It's so beautiful there," Dallia smiled, "I'm so excited to see Paris."

"You haven't stopped talking about going to Paris since we were kids." Taehyung laughed from beside her.

"I know! I'm just upset that we won't have time in our schedule to see the Eiffel Tower."

"Don't worry, we'll come back." He assured her.

"I hope so."

"Hyung I really don't know what to do anymore," Jeongguk whispered to Seokjin as he motioned at the sleeping girl on his lap, "She won't believe me."

Jin sighed and looked at his daughter, now feeling emotional, "I wish I could go back and call the police that day."

"What? What are you talking about?"

"November 10, 2006. I was driving on a side street in Bangkok after running away from my parents. A tiny little girl with a gunshot wound to the shoulder came running from her house and collapsed in front of my car. I got out of my car to ask her if she needed help but she couldn't speak any Korean so she just looked confused. I dialed 911 and showed her my phone but she just shook her head and headed back to her house."

"The little girl was Lisa.." Jeongguk concluded as he rubbed his thumb gently over the scar on her shoulder. He'd always questioned that scar but she never told him what it was from. Now he knew.

"If I had called the police that day, maybe she wouldn't have gone through so much. I've felt so guilty about it since I found out that little girl was her."

"You can't feel guilty for that, hyung." Jeongguk said softly, "None of that is your fault."

"I know but I just feel like I could've saved her." He looked down.

"You did save her. You've saved her every day since the day you met her. Trust me hyung, she's just grateful to have two parents that actually love her. That's all she needs and that's all that matters to her."

"I'm the source of your problem." Jin looked at him.

"Huh?"

"She won't believe that you love her because I didn't save her early enough."

"No. That has nothing to do with it. She's had trauma and trust issues since the day she was born. She's always been treated like that. Stop blaming yourself." Jeongguk bit the inside of his cheek, "You were definitely meant to be a father."

"Why's that?"

"Because you feel guilty about things you can't control for your daughter. This isn't your fault." Jeongguk said.

"Kiss her."

Jeongguk's jaw dropped, "What?!"

"She'll feel it if you kiss her. She'll understand if you kiss her. Find the right time and kiss her." Jin told him.

"I've never heard a father tell a boy to kiss his daughter," He laughed, "I don't wanna hurt her."

"Hurt her?" Jin's expression changed when he realized, "Oh."

"Are we on the plane?" Lisa slowly lifted her head from Jeongguk's lap and rubbed her eyes.

"Yeah. You were tired and I didn't want to wake you so I carried you here." Jeongguk smiled.

"Oh," She smiled, "Thanks." She glanced at her father, "Dad? Why do you look like you're about to throw up?"

"Because I think I am."

"Are you plane sick?" She asked.

"No."

"Then why-"

"We were talking about you. While you were asleep, we were talking about you." Jin explained, "And something came up and I just..I don't know. I hate to think about it."

"What were you guys talking about?" Lisa questioned.

"The day I first met you. Back when you were little." Jin looked at her, "You remember that, right?"

"Vividly." She agreed, "Very vividly."

Seokjin took in a deep breath, "What happened that day?"

"It's a really long story."

"We have a lot of time." Jeongguk chimed in, "Talk to us."

She sighed, "My dad shot me. That's it."

"But that's not it. Why'd he shoot you? What happened?"

Fidgeting with her fingers, she responded, "I woke up that morning and he was..you know." She cleared her throat, "And I was just so tired so I tried kicking him and he didn't like that very much. He shoved me down the stairs and pulled me by my hair to the basement. He uh.." She paused, "Enjoyed himself for a while down there before I started to spit at him and call him disgusting. He hated that. He hated when I called him disgusting. So he grabbed the shotgun off the wall and shot me. He was gonna kill me that day. He had his finger on the trigger to pull it twice but I ran upstairs and outside and then I found you. He was standing in the front doorway with his gun when you asked me if I needed you to call 911 and I was afraid he would shoot you so I ran back inside." She sighed.

Jeongguk grabbed a plastic bag from the pocket on the seat in front of him and leaned into it, vomiting violently for nearly two minutes straight. When he finished, he wiped his mouth and looked at the girl in front of him.

"Do you get plane sick too?"

"We're not plane sick Lisa," Jin looked sadly at her, "Do you even realize the weight of the words you're saying? Do you understand how awful it sounds?"

She just shrugged, "Not really."

Jeongguk replied, "You need to start seeing a therapist."

"I'm fine."

"You are not fine." Seokjin stammered, "You won't even let this poor man tell you he loves you! You are not fine."

Lisa avoided the topic, "You guys worry too much."

And before either of them could say anything else, the pilot interrupted them on the intercom, "We have arrived in Paris, France."
