Lisa watched Jeongguk loosen the tie around his neck, sliding it off his shoulders and onto the ground. They'd just returned to their hotel after a concert. Taehyung and Dallia had gone out to eat, therefore Lisa and Jeongguk had the hotel room to themselves. Lisa couldn't help but stare as he unbuttoned his shirt slowly. She knew he could feel her eyes on him. She could see the smirk on his lips.

"Lisa?"

She tensed, "Hm?"

"Will you come take my belt off for me? These buttons take forever to undo and I really wanna get out of these pants." He looked up slowly at her. She felt her mouth run dry but nonetheless she got up and walked up to him, reaching for the buckle of his belt. She felt a hand on her jaw angling her face toward his, "Look at me while you take off my belt."

Lisa felt like her knees were gonna buckle. She felt dazed as she stared at him while undoing his belt buckle. She slowly pulled it off from around his waist and let it fall to the ground. They stared at each other for several seconds, the tension growing every second.

He has me completely wrapped around his finger She thought to herself.

"What do you two want for breakfast tomorrow morning- HOLY SHIT I THINK I'M TRAUMATIZED!" Seokjin said as he entered the room. Lisa rolled her eyes while Jeongguk just smirked to himself, "And you guys call yourselves "just friends". "Just friends" don't undress each other. Also, GET YOUR DAMN HANDS OFF HIS BELT!"

"Dad please just shut the fuck up," Lisa stepped toward him, "Whatever you make I'll eat."

Seokjin nodded, "So when are you gonna make it official?"

"Dad!" Lisa whined, "Stop."

"You can't be undressing each other and not talk about what's going on between you two. Figure that shit out." He said before closing the door.

"He's really rooting for us." Jeongguk laughed.

"He really is."

"But I'm rooting for us too."

She slowly looked up at him, "Jeongguk-"

"Just listen." He said, "I understand that you don't believe me. But I can promise you that I am so undeniably in love with you that it physically hurts. Everything you do is admirable. I want to be with you all the time. I'm my best self when I'm with you. But you don't believe me. So I'll wait for you. I'll wait forever for you, Lalisa. Even if it means you find someone else, I will always wait for you."

"Stop saying I'm going to find someone else." She sighed, "I'm not going to find someone else, I'm not looking for anyone else! I don't want anyone else."

"In that case, I'll love you from afar for the rest of my life. Watching you is enough. Knowing you're okay is enough."

Lisa felt like she could cry. Not out of sadness, of course. No one had ever said anything like this to her before. No one had ever shown her what this kind of love was before. And even when her brain kept telling her that it was too dangerous to let him in because of the risk of losing him, her heart pulled her closer and closer to him every time he looked her way.

"I.."

"Guys come to the roof, there's fireworks!" Dallia barged into the room excitedly. Lisa grabbed Jeongguk's arm and pulled him up to the roof before they could finish their conversation.
