"Where do you think you're going?" A voice chimed from behind Lisa as she packed her things.
"Where I'm going is none of your business. Fuck off." She replied.
She felt a hand grab the back of her neck roughly, "Where the fuck are you going?" He asked again.
"I'm leaving." She pulled away from him, "I'm getting the fuck away from you."
"Leaving huh?" He scoffed a laugh and shoved her against the wall, "You're not going anywhere."
"Seojun. Get your hands off of me. Right fucking now." Lisa stammered.
Seojun, a 43-year-old man, had been taking advantage of and abusing 13-year-old Lisa for years now.
"Where the fuck are you gonna go?!" Seojun screamed as she continued packing her things, "You're just gonna up and leave?!"
"FUCK. OFF." Lisa replied, "YOU DON'T HAVE ANY RIGHT TO TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CAN'T FUCKING DO!"
"EXCUSE ME?! I'M YOUR FUCKING BOYFRIEND! YOU'RE GONNA LISTEN TO ME WHETHER YOU FUCKING LIKE IT OR NOT!"
"YOU'RE NOT MY GOD DAMN BOYFRIEND, YOU'RE 43 YEARS OLD! I'M FUCKING 13!" Lisa zipped up her suitcase, "I'm leaving."
Seojun grabbed her roughly by the throat, his fingers digging into her neck, "Unpack your shit and make me dinner." He said through gritted teeth.
"GET YOUR HANDS OFF ME!" Lisa screamed as she tried pushing him, "FUCK OFF!"
He squeezed her throat harder, "YOU'RE STAYING HERE WITH ME!"
Before she could reply, Seojun was on the floor. Lisa looked up at Jeongguk who was standing above him with a bat in his hand. Dropping the bat, he held his hand out for Lisa to take, "Come on." He said softly.
Lisa grabbed her suitcase and stepped over Seojun, taking Jeongguk's hand and letting him lead her downstairs.
"Where's Lisa going?" Intak asked.
"She's moving out," Minnie explained to him, "She's gonna be dancing and singing on stage! Isn't that exciting?"
"Can we watch?!" A little girl asked excitedly.
"You guys can come to all of my shows." Lisa smiled, "I love you all so much."
"We love you too!"
Minnie gave her sister a tight hug, "I'm so proud of you." She said into her shoulder, "And thank you. For stepping up all these years. You deserve this."
Lisa sighed as she pulled away and looked at the door, "I guess this is goodbye then."
Walking out of that house was one of the hardest things Lisa had ever done. Although it was relieving, she felt bad leaving her siblings.
"Are you okay?" Jeongguk asked when she hadn't got in the car yet.
"I'm fine." She brought a hand up to her bruised neck.
"We don't have to talk about it right now but I'm here to listen when you're ready." He said, "Things are gonna change for you."
She nodded, "Thanks for catching me earlier." She smiled softly, "Probably would've bled out by now."
Jeongguk opened the car door for her, "I wouldn't have let that happen."
