Lisa sighed as she watched her members perform from backstage. They weren't how they normally were onstage. She sadly watched them all perform with little to no energy.
And when she caught a glimpse of Jeongguk, she was done for. He looked miserable and tired. He was forgetting the lyrics to his parts and the choreography. He was a mess.
"Are you feeling okay enough to go on?" One of the officers approached her.
"I feel perfectly fine." Lisa smiled, "I'm good."
"Okay, if you're sure." The officer sighed, "I can't believe you convinced us to let you do this."
"I always get what I want somehow." Lisa shrugged with a smirk, "But seriously, thank you for this." She said as she put her ear piece in when she heard the verse before her part in 'Epilogue: Young Forever'. Walking onto that stage felt so right despite the pain. She didn't even care about the pain. She just wanted to be with Jeongguk. And see her parents. And make sure everyone knew she was okay.
"Deoun teong bin mudaee seosseul ttae
gwaenhan gongheohame nan geobeul lae
bokjaphan gamjeong sogeseo salmui saseon wieseo." Lisa rapped as she walked up to Jeongguk and tapped on his shoulder. She heard everyone's gasps into their microphones from around her. When Jeongguk turned around, his entire face lit up. He pulled her close by the waist and picked her up, squeezing her tighter than he ever had before. He whispered some things against Lisa's neck that she couldn't decipher but she could tell he was happy to see her. When the song ended, everyone took their turns hugging her. Despite everyone wondering what was going on, they had to keep their questions to themselves until the concert ended. And of course, when it did end, she was swarmed by the members and their curiosity.
"What happened?!"
"Where were you?"
"Who took you?"
"How did you escape?"
"Are you okay?"
Lisa felt overwhelmed with all of the questions being thrown at her. She just shrugged in reply to everyone's questions, "I don't really know how it all happened. But it's over now." She smiled but felt like throwing up.
"You don't have to tell us what happened right now." Yoongi said softly, "You can tell us when you're ready. And if you're never ready, that's okay too."
"Yeah!" Hoseok agreed with a smile.
"Honey," Namjoon placed his hand on her shoulder, "We all love you. And we're all here for you. You know you can talk to us when you're ready."
"I know." She replied, "I love you guys too."
It was pouring rain when they all stepped outside to head back to their hotel. Jeongguk had his arm wrapped tightly around Lisa making sure she wasn't going anywhere. As they got into the car, Lisa seemed to be looking at something across the parking lot. The second Jeongguk had sat her down in the car she stood right back up and ran out of the car and back into the parking lot. He quickly followed her, watching her run toward a person dressed in all black in the middle of the pavement.
"What is she doing?" Jin got out of the car and followed Jeongguk, "Who is that?"
Jeongguk shrugged, "I don't know, she just got up and started running toward them."
Everyone else was watching the encounter from inside the car. When she'd reached the person dressed in all black, she lifted her arm and punched him across the face.
"Go to hell." She shouted as she punched him again, knocking him to the ground only for her to get on top of him and continue beating his face in, "Fuck you!"
"Lisa!" Jeongguk ran over to her, grabbing her by the shoulders and pulling her off of the man. Breathless, Lisa just stared angrily at the man on the ground.
The officers that had come with Lisa from the hospital identified the man as Lisa's brother and arrested him, shoving him in the back of their cruiser.
