Upon seeing sunlight we realized that we were indeed standing within the Swamplands located in the center of the continent. I took the first step out of the cave tentatively making sure the ground before us could support our weight. I stepped out and then turned towards the two still inside the cave and said,
"Well guys, it seems we have considerably shortened our journey. We have found ourselves in the swamps, not to mention, I believe that large body of water over there to be none other than The Lake Rosemary if I'm not mistaken. We should be able to find our way to Sagona in no time at this rate. Oh the ground seems pretty stable around here, we should go find an area where we can set up camp for the night and maybe even for the journeys length. As Lorenzo so happily reminded me I have access to -Warp- after all, so we could just return to our camp every time it hits nightfall. What say you guys?"
Sid was the first to reply, nodding along with what I was saying while looking past me at the water, "I can say with certainty that that there is most definitely Lake Rosemary. See that tall Rosewood Tree over there, in the center of the lake. It is the reason this lake is called Rosemary is the first place. There once was a dryad that ruled over these lands making a lush tropical rainforest living within that tree, who was named Rosemary by the way. Either way if we can make it to the southern side of the lake, we should be able to see the Natarel Mountains in the distance. Once we accomplish that I feel we should find a place to set up camp preferably close to the lake itself, but not on its shores as it is a dangerous place at night. There are several kinds of Crocs and Gators lurking within its depths just waiting for an unsuspecting victim for lunch. So let us head South, not that I can tell you which way that would be from this exact spot. If it were already nighttime I could use the stars to navigate through the swampland but that is better done alone, as I cannot guarantee anyone else's survival through such a journey. For now Lorenzo, I recall you saying you can recall any point you have been before and exactly how to get there correct?"
"You are correct in saying so, why do you ask?" Lorenzo replied coming out of that daze-like trance he was in moments ago.
"In that case would you be able to locate a specific rock formation located on the southern edges of the lake here. I am sure that you have been there before if you have traveled through this land before, it is an ancient ruins stemming from the times people used to live here thousands of years ago. Back when this place was still lush rainforests. Either way now let us get going, if you are able to get us there we should be able to use it as a decent base of operations for the foreseeable future can we not Lord Bishari?" Sid responded immediately almost not even waiting for Lorenzo to finish speaking before turning his attention back to me.
"I see no problem with that plan, after all that is the reason Lorenzo was asked to come along with us in the first place. Come let us get a move on, it seems to be the middle of the afternoon already." I stated intentionally ignoring the pleading look in Lorenzo's face at that moment.
"Oh very well, I shall cast -Locate- once again, it takes such a toll on my magic though, I cannot use it more than three times a day keep that in mind for the future." Lorenzo conceded to our demands this time but reminded us about his limits.
As soon as he said this he once again went into the weird trance that showed he was following a path. We followed him through precarious conditions almost slipping into deep pools just inches away from the path we were walking on. After about two hours of walking we arrived at a little outcrop of rock located not far from the lakeside, about a ten minute walk or so. We saw that it was starting to get dark so we divvied up the chores with setting up camp. I went to set up the tent we were to share while Lorenzo went out to find dry firewood. Sid set about building what he called a smokeless campfire. It was a wonder to behold, who knew that you could get fire without the smoke. Lorenzo came back with firewood and said that we wanted to try cooking some mushroom he found within the forest recently. Needless to say it left us only wanting more after we were finished eating. By the time we were finished eating it was already dark out. We decided to go to bed for the night setting watch rotations every two hours or so. Lorenzo took the first watch, Sid took the second and I took the last, Totaling a total of four hours of sleep a night for each of us. It would be a lot to deal with for the time being but we had no other choice with the dangerous surroundings. That being said Sid and I went to the tent and set about getting whatever rest we could
