--Two Months Later--

Winston and Raul were out patrolling the coasts of the forest to the southeast of the lake towards the Sea of Enchantment. They were out looking for other demonized fauna within the forest. The High Elves call the creatures and spirits like the Giant Boar, Demonized Fauna AKA Demons. Raul had asked Winston that morning to help him out with something to the east side of the forest today. They set out right after breakfast that morning and went about killing anything that did not belong within the forest.

"Y'know Win, I really appreciate you coming out to help me patrol today. I don't really want to blame anyone but it really seems like more and more demons are popping up around here since Roy and Everest came about. Like they are drawn towards them or something." Raul said as they were running through the trees following some Cockatrices.

Winston thought for a minute then replied, "So it seems, I've heard from Sheila that Roy has recently mastered all of the flame type spells that he has found. It seems that his aptitude for mana is quite astounding. I once thought that almost no one within this world would be able to compete with me for mana levels. Oh how foolish I was. Either way it seems we should talk to Roy and Everest to see if they could start helping us out with the extermination of these Demons roaming all around."

Winston suddenly stopped and fired off a couple of the flame arrows he used on the Giant Boar. Hitting his target Winston motioned to Raul to do his part. Raul brought out his hands and recited a spell, when he did sharp translucent claws appeared on his fingertips. He rushed forward and slashed through the throat of the second Cockatrice when abruptly, they sensed a large amount of mana heading towards the coastline by Mount Sulos(the lone mountain within the forest).

"Is that what I think it is?" Raul asked Winston when they registered what just happened.

"No doubt. There could be no mistaking that mana signature for anothers. It seems the problems just keep piling up. We should head back for today and call an emergency Meeting of the Elders. We are lucky to have noticed it when we did," Winston replied as he noticed the mana signature disappearing. Signaling to Raul he then said "Let's get a move on."

I had recently mastered all the flame spells within my grasp. I started out this morning by heading over the the Lab as I have every morning since I got here. Within the training grounds below the lab I was training my -Flame Bolt- spell. At the time I was firing off multiple bolts at a time trying to hit the target that was strapped to Everests' back. Everest was also training his spells as well, currently we were working on -Fleet Foot- with a target strapped to his back. He would use -Fleet Foot- to move faster than the eye could see while I was trying to focus on the target. I should mention that by this point in time Everest was already about the size of large dog. He was working on dodging my spells as I cast them. I cast -Flame Bolt- once more then while Everest dodged to one side I hit him with an -Azure Flame Bolt- on the other side.

P--oosh

"Phew, I finally hit it. Take that Ev. I win today." I stated while releasing the pent up focus I was using.

"Oh come on Master. You've only hit the target once today so far. You can't say you've already won. We've only just started. Let's go for another go around." Everest replied with a pouty attitude.

As I was about to show him the damage I had actually caused to the target when I heard the door to the training grounds open. I turned around to see Sheila walking briskly towards me and Everest.
