The Scent of You

Chapter 4

Pov y/n

I watch as the woman leaves feeling like I should follow her.
I snap out of it when Spencer pulls on my arm dragging me with her. I follow her but continue to look where the woman was. I'm entranced by her.

After a few more minutes Spencer snaps in front of my face which makes me jump back a tiny bit not expecting that.
I look at her and say, "What?"

"You weren't answering me, lets head back home. I'll order dinner on our way so it'll be there a few minutes after we get there."

I nod my head and say, "You know what I like. I'm going to take a shower before dinner."

I see her nod her head before she grabs her phone to place the order somewhere. I walk to my room and I smell what I smell when I see the woman.
I furrow my eyebrows and decide to get clothes.
Once I grab my clothes and lay them out on my bed, I jump into the shower.

About thirty minutes later, Spencer knocks on the door to my bedroom to tell me food is here.
I yell back, "I'll be out in a minute."

I shut the shower off and wrap the towel around me.
I walk into my room and I can still smell that smell.
It's faint but I can tell it's there which confuses me. I shake my head and say to myself, "Let's get dressed so we can eat."

I finish drying myself off and then get dressed. Once I'm dressed I grab my hairbrush and start to brush my hair when the smell gets stronger.
I look at my brush and smell it. I can tell that the smell is coming from my brush but I'm not sure why.
I really like how it smells and I want to be around her but I'm not sure why.

Spencer comes back and barges in my room and pulls me out so we can eat. As we're eating, I'm more quiet than normal as I think about whoever that woman is.

I can feel Spencer's eyes on me as she tries to figure out what's going on.
After dinner Spencer says she'll clean up, so I say "I'm heading to bed."

She nods and starts cleaning up while I head to my room. I lay in bed and the smell is stronger again.
I smell my pillow and smile as I can smell this beautiful smell again. I close my eyes, hugging my pillow close to me.

It's been a few days, and to say I'm confused is an understatement. I've been thinking about this woman constantly. I've spoken to Spencer about this but she just kept saying that I had a huge crush, but I don't think it's that.

The last couple of days I've run into who I now know as Wanda. We've talked and every time I've wanted to leave and be with her at the same time.
It seems like that gets stronger each time I see her.

Like with each time I see wanda, I want to be closer to her, like I want to be with her.
Wanda and I went out to have lunch and that was a good time. I've gotten to know her a bit more but she still seems like she's hiding something.
I know something is off, and I'm not sure if I could pinpoint what that is.

I've tried talking to Spencer about it and all she does is joke around that I have a big crush. I don't know what to do now since I don't know what wanda is hiding.
I'm going to see what Wanda thinks about me coming over to her place....
So I can try to snoop around and see if I can find anything.
