My life has been somewhat okay.
I work five days a week as a waitress and I'm almost as positive as I can be even with very rude people.

Today, which is Wednesday, I'm headed to the store to grab some stuff my roommate and I need.
I soon end up in the dairy aisle and am trying to decide which yogurt I want.
I grab the strawberry flavored yogurt and look at it deciding if I want that or my favorite, which is peach.

While I'm trying to decide, the yogurt suddenly slips out of my hand and a beautiful woman catches it before it hits the floor.

"Looks like you dropped something."

I look at her and put my most innocent smile on and say, "Yeah, it just slipped out of my hand. Thanks for catching it, otherwise there would have been a huge mess on the ground."

She hands the yogurt back to me and says, "Strawberry flavored? You strike me more as a... peach yogurt eater?"

That makes me blush as I say, "Yeah, I like peach yogurt."
I wet my lips with my tongue.

"Well, then you should buy some." She says as she hands me the peach yogurt. I catch a whiff of a beautiful smell which I get attached to quickly.

"Just to make sure you got your favorite at home." She then just puts the peach yogurt into my cart and winks at me while walking away.

I stand there a bit confused as I wanted to be around her more. I shake my head to get out of whatever funk I was in.
I finish my shopping as I think of this beautiful, nameless woman.
I pay, put my bags into the car and head home meeting my roommate, Spencer.

She tells me about her day while helping to put away the groceries.
When she is done, I tell her about my weird encounter with the woman. Spencer tells me that I have a crush and teases me about it but I'm not so sure about that.

I look at Spencer and say, "What are we doing later today? Should we go out on a walk in the park?"

Spencer jumps up excitedly and says, "Yes, let's go to the park and walk. Maybe we can run into that woman you told me about. The one you have a crush on".

I roll my eyes and shake my head, I don't have a crush on her. But yeah, let's go to the park and go for a walk.

After an hour of staying at home, Spencer started groaning about how she wants to go and walk around the park. I smile and say, "Okay okay, lets go Spencer."

We both get our shoes on and head out the door holding hands, something we've always done.
As we leave and head to the park, I spot someone who looks familiar and stop.
I look closer but don't see what I thought I did so I continue to walk ignoring how Spencer looked at me.

We soon arrive at the park and Spencer takes off running with me chasing her.
I laugh when she trips but run to see if she is okay.

I help her up and ask, "Are you okay Spencer?"
She nods her head so I nod and say, "Lets get back to walking."

She grabs my hand and we continue our walk. As we're walking I feel Spencer squeeze my hand grabbing my attention, I look towards her and say, "Yea Spence?"

"I want to know what you thought of that woman from the grocery store earlier. Talk to me."
I look down as I collect my thoughts.

"I don't know Spence, it was like in the moment I was mesmerized by her and wanted to be next to her for the longest time, but when she walked away it seemed like everything snapped back to normal. Like it was a weird encounter." I look at her and see her with a soft smile.

I smile back and say, "I'm not sure what I think about the whole thing but I do know that it was a bit weird. If I see her again and you're with me, maybe you'll see what I mean. But I'm not even sure I'll see her again, I mean we live in California. There are a ton of people in California so I doubt that I will run into her again."

A/n: And chapter two, off to a good start.

How do you think this will turn out?
