In a moment unexpected,
Our paths crossed once more,
Meeting the one I loved before,
Flooded my heart and left me floored.
We exchanged sweetness, laughter,
Dissolving sorrows and memories,
But deep down I know,
I can no longer be yours.
Unexpected meetings can stir up old flames,
But we must remember why we parted ways,
For while our hearts may still ache,
We have moved on to brighter days.
