Persona

Zee pruk and Nunew were kept in the same room while they stayed in the hospital. They can be discharged tomorrow but the needed to have IV fluids in their system first as the kids were dehydrated. Zee has a sling for his dislocated shoulder and is being given pain medications to ease the pain. The medications made him droopy and sleepy. Nunew is also constantly asleep as he was so tired. Their mothers and nunew's brothers didnt dare disturb the two.

It was around 2am when it started raining. The thunder and lightning started to invade the sky. After one large thunder sound, Zee woke up in a panic mode. The lights are all off so he panicked ever more. He started crying and shouting which woke up Nunew and made the nurses enter their room. The nurses tried to calm him down but they failed. Zee just keeps on covering his ears and crying. He was shouting for Nu.
Nunew begged one of the nurse to transfer him to his bed. The nurse was hesitant but when she see that they can't calm the older down, she assisted Nunew to go to his bed.
Nunew crawled to him and put his small hands to Zee's cheeks.

" Hia. Hia. It's me. Im here. Hia. I am here" Nunew calmly told zee.

Zee lifted his eyes and saw Nunew. He hugged the younger boy and cried until he calmed down. Nunew just let him cry and hugged him back.
Zee asked if Nunew can sleep with him on his bed which the nurse just nodded to. Nunew told the nurses to leave a light on too as it is too dark.
Nunew snuggled next to Zee pruk. He put his head on Zee's chest. His heartbeat lulled Nunew to sleep. Zee's panic attack wore off which made him sleepy too.

The next morning, a therapist talked to the boys one by one. She determined that the two boys trust only each other. Nunew has a bond with Zee which even his brothers dont have with him. The trauma that they both experience made them afraid and mistrustful. The only way for them to heal is to keep them with each other as they learn their way to healing.
For this reason, Pornthip and Malee decided to move in together to a bigger house after their husband's funeral. This means that Beam and Nat will also be with them too as Beam is the head of housemaids for Pornthip.

Zee and Nunew has obvious changes in their behavior.
Nunew is no longer the bubbly and clingy child he was once before. He now hated being touched by people he doesnt trust. He's now quiet and would only talk if directly spoken to. He wouldnt smile or laugh in front of people he dont know. He would be his usual self infront of his family (which now includes Zee, Malee, Beam and Nat) but would tense up and be a different persona when others are around. If people he doesnt know or like starts to get too close to him, he gets a panic attack.
Zee, however, matured almost immediately. He is still quiet but is no longer shy in giving his opinions. He now looks like the big brother to everybody who is ready to protect them at all cost. He would discuss business with his mother and would even start reading business related books. He is now strict with all of his brothers. Making sure that they all follow rules. He has a huge mistrust to other people. Zee who is always polite and respectful would now speak harshly and rudely to people he thinks will not be good to them or people he dont know to try and keep them away from him and his family.
As Zee doesnt like dark places anymore, there is always a light opened in their house in case Zee goes out of his room at night. He keeps his lamp turned on in his bedroom and the only time that he would turn off the lights is when Nunew is sleeping next to him.
