Zee came back to his room after having a CT scan and MRI. The nurses helped him to get back to the bed as he has a cast on his left leg. Once he's settled, he saw Nunew sitting on the sofa infront of him with his head on James's shoulder as he sleeps. James is just browsing things on his phone as he lets his brother rest. He's been working a lot lately.
"Why does he look so tired?" Zee asked
Net who is sitting on the armchair next to him looked at Nunew. James raised his head as well when he heard the question and noddes at Net.
"What do you expect Phi? You've been out for 3 weeks, he volunteered to Auntie to step up as temporary VP. He's been doing two jobs at once. He refuses to go home so he stays here with you and would only leave when he has urgent meetings. Everything else is done remotely here. He refused to leave you even if we threatened to drag him home. For three weeks he never had a full rest. He's working when he's here and would still take care of you. Making sure you're warm and comfortable. That you're listening to your favorite songs, or that you can smell fresh flowers and fruits. He basically moved in here you know." Net told him as he stares at Nunew.
"He beats himself up all day, always saying he is okay. Always smiling at everybody. But we always see him with puffy eyes in the morning." Net said again as he looks at Zee.
Zee was silent. As if he's calculating what he should say next. "It's not his fault though" he quietly said
"We always tell him that. He says he knows. But it's clearly obvious that he doesnt believe it" Net told him
Then suddenly Nunew's phone rings. He woke up immediately and looked at Zee. As if he's making sure he's fine. When he saw Zee sitting at his bed, he then took notice of his ringing phone. It was Camila. She was ringing because his meeting which he moved back in the afternoon when Zee woke up is in 20min so Nunew needs to come back to office now.
"Okay, i'll be there in 20min. Could yoi get me some latte please" He asked her as she says good bye. Nunew sighed and fixed his clothes
"Going already? Do you need a ride?" James asked
"Yeah, i have meeting for the fashion week in 20min. I drove kirin here, it would be quickerntk go back with it considering the traffic at this hour" Nunew said. He then looked at Zee. He looked at him with such longing eyes. Oh how much he wants to hug him. He shakes his head and put his coat on and went to Zee
"Hia I have to go, if you need anything just message me" then Nunew remembered his phone. He opened the drawer and took Zee's phone out. "Here hia, I saw it in your office so i charged it for you. Im going now. See you later" Nunew said as he come out of the room.
James exhaled and shakes his head. He sat beside Net
"Did you know that he found the money launderer that's been stealing money for you? He prosecuted them and made changes to your finance department." James said to him. Zee looked at him surprised "He also put your board of directors in their places when they questioned your fitness to work. He actually stood up to those power hungry dinosaurs" James continued. Zee just looked at his phone. His wallpaper is still the photo of him and Nunew

"You guys need to talk. You're both struggling and we all can see it. He's got things he constantly overthink about and you do too. Talk to him. You're older. Be a man and take the first step. " James sternly told him. Zee just sighed and look outside the window
It was already 10pm when Nunew managed to get back to the hospital. He quietly came in and saw one of the nurses checking his IV
"Is he okay?" Nunew quietly said.
"He is Nunew. We gave him some strong painkillers earlier because of his leg pain, he should have some nice sleep tonight. You should rest too, you've been back late tonight" The nurse told him
"I will. Thank you for taking care of him" He politely said to her as she pats his shoulder before she came out. Nunew put his laptop at the bedside table and the peaches that he bought for Zee at the small dining table. He sat down and took Zee's hand into his as he knows he wouldnt be able to do this when he wakes up.
"I miss you Hia. I miss you so much" he puts Zee's hand into his cheek "I miss you smiling at me, i miss you teasing me. I miss you patting my head" Nunew said as he puts his hand down but still didnt let go. "But i guess it will change now. You dont look at me like before now. But its okay. As long as i can see you. As long as i can be near you, to support you, i will be okay. As long as i dont lose you im okay" Nunew said as he wiped his tears and laid down his head on top of Zee's hand
"Why?" Suddenly he heard Zee's voice
Nunew lifted his head and saw that Zee is awake.
"Hia" he softly said
"Why would you want to be beside me when you already chose that Ivan over me?" Zee bitterly asked. It's about damn time we talk. Zee thought to himself
"What? What do you mean I chose Ivan over you?! When did I ever say that?" Nunew asked as he's baffled
"Before the accident I called you. I said we need to talk and asked you to come to me then you said you cant and I clearly heard Ivan's voice. Then you said you're sorry and the line got cut. I called you several times but you turned off your phone" Zee told him
"First, I didnt say I picked him over you or whatsoever. The reception on Ivan's place is bad so I couldnt hear you. I was trying to say that I couldnt clearly hear you but i got cut off because Ivan called ALL of us for food. I was saying Im sorry because.i didnt hear you and was asking for you to repeat it but my phone went dead. I didnt turn off my phone, my battery went dead." Nunew reasoned out to him "I tried to ring you back with Tutor's phone but you didnt answer. I called you several times. You can even check your phone" Nunew told him. Zee checked and he really did ring several times.
"I thought you chose him" Zee quietly said, feeling guilty about the misunderstanding.
"Where is this coming from?! Ivan? Seriously?!" Nunew is annoyed now. "Why would I ever choose him oved you when Im clearly in love with you?!" Nunew accidentally said. He noticed it too late as Zee stood up quickly
"What did you say?!" Zee asked
"Nothing, im going to go to the toilet" Nunew attempted to get out of the situation but as he stood up, Zee pulled Nunew towards him causing Nunew to stumble and hug Zee.
"What did you say? Say it again. Please" Zee softly beg Nunew.
Nunew cant take it anymore. He feels Zee tighten his hug.
"Im in love with you. Im sorry, but I love you" Nunew quietly said. He felt Zee inhaled. This is it. This is the end of us. Nunew said in his thoughts as he prepares for the heartbreak
Zee released him from the hug. He put both of his hands in Nunew's cheeks. He looked deep into his eyes and smiled.
"Then I would like to apologize as well." Zee told him as he move his face closer towards Nunew.
"Because Im madly in love with you too."
And with that, Zee kissed Nunew. He gave Nunew a soft kiss to show his loving emotions. He then moved away a bit and put his forehead into Nunew's
"I love you so much Nu"
Nunew then smiled, grabbed Zee's shirt and crashed their lips together.
He tastes so sweet. Zee thought as he enjoys Nunew's kisses.
