Zee has had enough of this morning meeting which lasted 3hrs and was indeed fruitless for him. He just wanted to go back to his own office, have coffee and rest. Maybe call Nunew too if he is already awake. But nothing seemed to go his way. He decided to end the meeting and walked to his office. Mr. Singh still is talking about giving them some of his time. Zee didnt care anymore and just continued to walk. Tommy unusually stopped Mr. Singh and looked at Zee as he told him to go to his office. Zee opened the door. Nunew. It's Nunew. Nunew is here. And he is sleeping on the sofa. Zee was taken out of his thoughts when he hears Mr. Singh again
"Mr. Panich. If only you would listen to us more we promise to you, you would make more profit!" The other man shouted as Jimmy tried ushered them out.
That's it!. Zee thought. He closed the door to not wake up Nunew and faced the unwanted visitors.
"If you dont shut up right now I will make sure nobody in this industry will ever listen to you again." Zee growled at him as Mr. Singh went white as a sheet.
"I told you im done for the day and yet you have the audacity to follow me at my office?! How dare you!" Zee continuously stared him down. "You will leave my building now and never come back unless I tell you to do so. We do business under MY terms, not yours. YOU need Me. I dont need even a penny from you." Zee told him
"You will leave now and if I hear one more word from you, I will make it my lifes mission to bury you in debt" Zee growled.
Singh then silently walked away, afraid of what Zee might do. Zee then went to Tommy.
"How long has he been here? And why didnt you call me?" Zee frowned at him
"He arrived here at 10 sir..He told me his flight landed at 9 and went straight here with a cab. He begged me not to tell you. He said he wanted to surprise you. He hadnt told his mother yet too. You're the first person he went to." Tommy explained "I ordered congee and tea for him after he requested. I guess was feeling tired as he fell asleep after eating." Tommy said
"Were you the one who put the blanket over him?" Zee said as he walked towards his door again
"Yes sir,. I was just concerned that he might feel cold" tommy told him
"Thank you" Zee said as he patted Tommy's shoulder.
"Sir i've already cancelled all your meetings this afternoon. " Tommy said
"Good job Tommy" Zee smiled in appreciation for Tommy's greaf work
Zee then entered the room. He knelt infront of Nunew. He cant believe he is here now. He patted his head and caressed his cheek. He still looks like a cat when he sleeps. Nunew stirred in his sleep and opened his eyes as he see Zee smiling at him
"Hi." Nunew said as he smiles
"Hello." Zee answered as he helps Nunew sit up
"You're cheating. You're supposed to come next week" Zee said to him
"It's a surprise. Not a cheat. Is your meeting done?" Nunew said as he rubs his eyes and hug Zee.
"Yeah. Its almost 12 now. Would you like to have lunch with me? Or would you like to give everybody else a heart attack now?" Zee teases him. He felt Nunew snuggle more into him. He felt Nunew relaxed his body more.
"Are you still sleepy?" Zee asked. Nunew just nodded. "Okay sleep more then. I will order food so we can just eat here. I will wake you up when food is ready then we can go surprise the others. Is that okay?" Nunew nodded again. He tightened his hold on Zee. Zee patted the side of his head
