The ritual proceeded as planned. Each Guardian was channeling their light into Echo. She could feel her strength returning. A bright light surrounded the warlock as she floated inside her magic circle. Her eyes opened slowly, glowing brightly. She was winning the fight. They could each feel Echo's energy surging through them. Like she was holding onto them for strength. Echo's energy grew stronger and stronger as each second passed. She should have enough energy to force him out of her mind.

"Eris!" It was Izaria, "She should have enough strength now, right? So why hasn't she pushed him out??" She called out worry lacing her voice.

"Focus on Echo! Do not falter!" Eris called back. "She's searching for the right moment!" Eris was determined. She knew Echo would win this fight. After everything she's been through, the warlock's mental strength was powerful. She wouldn't give up easily.

"Come on Darlin. I know you have it in you!" Drifter yelled to his lover. "Send him back to hell!" A wide grin appeared on his face. Each Guardian soon began shouting their own words of encouragement to their dear friend. Their words began fueling her strength along with their light.

"Echo! You've got this!" Izaria cried out as she poured more of her light into the amethyst.

"Come on Echo! Show him why you're the leader of Fireteam Riot!!" Storm followed Izaria's lead.

"Echo, don't give up, fight back!" Bastion and Ignition both fronted calling out to her.

"Don't you dare give up!" Evior yelled, "I'll drag you onto Trials of Osiris if you do!" The smile could be heard in his voice.

"Fight Echo! Force him out!!" Rythe-1 shouted. He knew she was strong, she just needed a small push.

Hearing all of them calling for her, and believing in her filled her heart with determination. She would force him out. A soft smile appeared on her face and all of her friend's eyes lit up.

"Whatever you all are doing, keep it up!" Eris shouted to them. "It's giving her the edge she needs!"

A surge of energy pulsed through the chamber, and a sense of calmness washed over all of them. It was Echo's energy, it was like she was trying to calm every one of them. The barrier around her began to dissipate, almost like it was cracking. The former hunter felt a shift in the energy in the air. It is attached to the Soul Crystal. The warlock was going to finally force Scoroboth out.  Eris put more energy into the ritual so that way Echo could sense the Soul Crystal. The former hunter could feel the warlock attaching her energy to the crystal.

"That's it, that's the crystal we're going to seal him in." Eris whispered, "All you have to do now is force him in there." Eris felt the energy around her stir in response. It was like Echo was confirming she knew what she had to do. The energy in the air changed once more, Echo's link with the crystal was complete.

Echo's eyes began to glow a blinding shade of white. The barrier around her shattered as she extended her arms forward towards the crystal. A blinding light enveloped the Soul Crystal as her body fell to the ground. Eris felt a massive amount of energy get trapped in the crystal. They had done it, Echo was free. Eris made sure Scoroboth was sealed back in the crystal before stopping the ritual.

Everyone's arms dropped as exhaustion took over their bodies. They all saw Echo's body lying on the ground, unmoving. Drifter was the first to rush to her side. He fell to his knees beside her and took her into his arms, holding her body upright. Storm and Izaria soon followed him, rushing to check on her. She lay unresponsive in his arms.

"My Moon?" Drifter placed his hand on her pale cheek. "Can you hear me?" He could see the moon sigil on her chest glowing faintly. She was there, she was just exhausted. "Darlin it's okay, you're safe now." He whispered softly.
