The demigods all stepped out of the portal, near the gate of New Rome. Percy soon followed. They all looked back and saw 3 figures, making Percy's gaze grow angry.

"Alright, everyone, get in the city," he said. His tone made it clear there was no arguing.

The demigods nodded and brought their children. Coral and Arc went with Hazel and Frank while Annabeth stayed behind.

Percy looked at her. "Annabeth, you should -"

"Nuh uh. You're not fighting primordials alone." She said.

Percy sighed. "Alright. You can stay with me. Just... don't freak out, okay?"

Annabeth looked at him, confused. "What do you mean?"

He grabbed Annabeth's hand, gently placing something in it. It was a ring.

Annabeth gasped. "This is -"

"My ring." Percy said. "It's mine."

Annabeth shook her head. "Why do Apollo and Dionysus have it? And the primordials?"

Percy was about to answer when one of the figures spoke, their words booming across the field.

"Are you just going to stand there, Percy?"

Annabeth sucked in a breath. She remembered that voice. It haunted her dreams.

The voice of Gaea.

Percy turned to her, anger on his face. He stalked towards her until he was about an arms distance.

He looked the three up and down. Standing there was Gaea, who looked smug, Ourea, who looked annoyed, and Ouranus, who looked like a blank slate.

His normally gorgeous eyes that were filled with sky blur and lightning were muddled, like dark clouds were clouding his vision.

Annabeth watched from afar, still trying to piece together what the ring was for.

Percy looked at Ouranus. "Darling. Featherhead. Why are you standing next to Gaea?"

Gaea laughed. "He lied to you, you idiot! He always loved me! Isn't that right, Ouranus?"

"Yes-Darling," Ouranus said monotonously, like a robot.

Percy looked at her, unimpressed, and then went back to looking at Ouranus, examining his features. "Really? He never loved me?"

Gaea laughed again. "Never! And together with Ourea and Pontus, we will destroy your -"

Percy's head snapped to look at her. She grew nervous and licked her lips.

"What was that, Gaea?" He asked dangerously.

She started to back up, hands raised outwards. "I didn't- I, uh- it just slipped out. I swear!"

Percy glared more. "It SOUNDED like you were threatening me."

Gaea quickly shook her head. "No, I promise I wasn't! I was just - please don't flick me!" She begged, backing up more.

Percy continued to glare. "You have no more control over me, Gaea. The curse was lifted, and I can freely roam Earth. Normally, I would let you go. However," Percy turned to Ouranus and looked deep into his eyes.

"You seem to have tried to control someone I love."

He raised his hand towards Gaea. Her eyes widened.

"Percy, wait! I can -"

Percy flicks his hand, and Gaea goes shooting across the landscape, breaking the sound barrier.
