Sat in a chair, I was motionless... What did he want with me? It was the only question zooming through my mind. I was praying to any God that was willing to listen for my safety and that it wouldn't be a repeat of the video.

"Why so serious?" Cry chuckled slightly at his reference as he wandered around the small, empty room. The only thing that occupied it was a window with very bland curtains that hung lazily along with two chairs and a table. It was on the second storey, so when Cry tore the curtains open you could watch over the world below, giving me flashbacks to a more peaceful time.

I wish I could have had the courage to snarl at his shitty excuse of a question, but I left it as a rhetorical one, scared of what he might do if I did otherwise.

"Oh come on Panda, loosen up... I just wanted to sit down with you for a bit... I like to come in here since it's pretty much abandoned..." The soulless mask moved its gaze from the view outside and into my general direction. "I thought you'd be the kind of person to enjoy the silence for a while... You're honestly acting quite strange..."

He seemed to have a moment in which he was a human in my eyes again, rather than a harmful monster. HIs tone reminded me of back when he had picked Terrance and I up from the airport; before I knew of any of the information that haunts my mind every time I close my eyes." It's just... uhh... well..."

"Did I scare you that much earlier... I didn't mean to..." Cry came and sat himself down at the seat across from me. He leant forward to have his arms against the tabletop. Of course, I couldn't tell by facial expression, but I could grasp from his tone that he was genuinely worried.

I was more confused now than I had ever been. I was truly taken aback by the gentleness of his words.

"No..."

"Then what?"

"Well... It's... Why did you ask me about Phil?" I managed to mutter in the eerie room that the light from the window tried to give life to.

"Why wouldn't I? I was curious since I haven't spoken to him in a while and I noticed you speaking with him... Isn't that how you generally start conversations?" He seemed so confused by my confusion and it was starting to make me question everything.

"He...He's a Vlogger... I just thought that might have bothered you... Since you're a Let's Player...And me being around Vloggers did bother you earlier..." I attempted to make the conversation as vague and innocent as possible, using only the information Cry had told me about last week. I really needed to stick with my story and not put myself in any danger despite the fact that Cry was being nice. From what I've seen and heard, Cry isn't always so kind and considerate.

Cry leaned back in his chair slightly and he looked to the ceiling, making the old wooden floorboards creak beneath him. He sighs slightly "It does somewhat... but I can't tell you who to talk to especially since you're in the International Dorm with a bunch of Vloggers...By the way...You never answered my question..."

"What?"

"How is he?" Cry chuckled as he spoke, humored by my resistance.

I really didn't know where to go from here. I felt Cry had ulterior motive and was just trying to get information from me, using a metaphorical and physical mask to hide the truth. But what he doesn't know is that I possess the same... ok, maybe not physical...

"I only met him today... I guess he's good... Very cheery, just like his videos..."

"That's good then..."

"I'm very surprised that you care so much..." I tried to turn the conversation so he would spill to me his reasons. Maybe even get some new information myself. The phrase of 'Two can play at that game' would be appropriate.
