The time just seemed to fly by... hehe... get it...

'Fly'...

Terrance wasn't very pleased with the joke either... He said that if I wanted to be a successful YouTuber that I wasn't allowed to say bad jokes like that... And if I was... I had to say them Ironically. I sort of snorted then said "Or you could be Barbara from Rooster Teeth..." and he replied with "There can only be one Barbara... Rule one of YouTube... You Gotta be original.". I didn't really see this statement as true since everyone on YouTube copies one another... but I suppose the people that are the most popular were the pioneers of their 'genre's'. So I just let it slide.

So we were finally in L.A. ... It was so...so... Different...

I don't really know how to explain it... It just seemed to have a different vibe to Sydney... Just wasn't 'Home'...

Terrance was guiding me through the unfamiliar airport to the outside world. I was just trying to get use to the constant American chatter shooting from right to left. I wasn't use to hearing such strange accents all the time and it was just weird. I started to feel self conscience of my own accent... Are people going to make fun of me?

"Come on Little Panda... Don't be shy" Terrance practically skipped along with a cheeky smirk displayed on his face which caused a smile on mine. I gotta get used to being called 'Panda' by others... That's what I call myself on YouTube but... It's never been a real nickname of mine.

As I was trying to wrap my head around the new life I would soon be pursuing, Terrance had led me out of the airport and right over to what I assumed was our ride. "Hope in! Just a Short car ride and we'll be there!" Terrance exclaimed as opens the back door for me. I slide into my seat as Terrance places my bag on the floor in front of me and closes the door. He then waddles on over to the front passenger door and practically jumps in. I didn't even notice that there was already a driver in the car... It didn't look like a taxi from the outside...?

"CRY! I didn't think you were the driver anymore. It's good to see you man, how's life?" Terrance exclaimed as he noticed who was seated in the drivers seat.

No... Wait... Hold up... Did he sa--!?

"Pretty good Terra. Well... I had quit but Pewds is an Asshole and asked me if I would drive one last time since I'm 'The worlds best driver'. Let's just say he used puppy dog eyes on me and they were super affective..." I was staring at the white shield covering the mans face as he spoke in the voice that I knew all too well. I didn't think he actually wore a mask in real life... but it turns out he does... It has the poker face and everything...

"He said that we had a special student coming today and that he wanted his favourite driver on the job... So here I am" Cry continued in a monotone voice, obviously over Pewds and his shenanigan. "I had to miss an important club meeting for this..." I suddenly felt really guilty... I didn't mean for Cry to miss out on important business just to pick me up...

"You won't regret it Cry. She's a really nice girl... This is Panda" Terrance smiled brightly as he turned in his seat to face me. Cry slowly followed and I was faced with his poker face mask straight on... It felt so weird not being able to see his face... I can't tell whether he was pissed or whether he was smiling... I could feel the palms of my hands sweat ... The darn Summer heat... It definitely wasn't as hot as Australia but... I did just come from Australia's winter so I still had to adjust...

Cry continued to stare at me for a few seemingly long moments before simply saying "Hi."

"Panda this is Cr--"

"Cry...Cryaotic... Also known preciously as ChaoticMonki..." I sort of let out, interrupting Terrance as I continue to stare into the hollow eyes of Cry's mask. "Nice to meet you"

I awkwardly and hesitantly reach out my hand for Cry to take. His eyes follow my hand. "Huh... The kid knows her stuff... Charming Accent too..." He whispered more to himself then us. He then shook my hand "Nice to meet you too kid" I assumed he was at least smirking behind his mask.

"I hope you don't think I'm being rude... But I haven't heard of you before..." Cry sort of spilt nervously, as if he was being introduced to a really big and important YouTuber that he should know.

"You're looking at APandaWithACamera. She's this years Scholar student..." Terrance interjected noticing Cry struggle. Cry's mask slowly turned to face Terrance then back to me.

"That would explain it... Well... 'Panda'... If you ever need any help with anything you just let me know" Cry turned back to the steering wheel and turned the key, starting the car and taking off down the street. Well, that was nice of him to say...

"Thank you." I smile even though he couldn't see me.

"Don't mention it. I just want to make sure that you are able to feel comfortable... Let's just say a Friend of Terra's and Pewdie's is a friend of mine" Now I could tell he was grinning by the way he spoke. I think I even caught a glimpse of the edge of his mouth sticking out the side of his mask. Thank god, I thought I had already made an enemy somehow with one of my many favourite YouTubers. I'm never really good with first impressions.

"How did you know I was a friend of Terrance... And Am I a friend of Felix?" I had only just processed what Cry had said... My inner fangirl was kind of dying and I wasn't fully paying attention...

"Well... First off... Terrance is never this enthusiastic about new people because they are typically mean to him... I can tell you two had a seemingly good flight since he looks like he's about the jump out of his seat..." Cry chuckled as he looked over to Terrance who returned a massive smile.

"And Secondly, Pewds seemed really excited about you... He has spent about a month working on your accommodation and whatnot... I've never seen him smile so brightly about a Scholar student... Actually... About any student now that I think about it... You must be a wizard" Cry lifted one of his hands and wriggled his fingers in the air as he said the last part.

"SHHH you'll give away my secret" I shushed him as he chuckled even louder. It felt so wrong yet so right to be speaking with Cry. I felt as though I was not worthy of even being in mere sight of his masked face yet he seemed like a nice guy.

"So... What classes are you going to be taking?" Cry asked as we stopped at a set of traffic lights. I hadn't noticed before but it looked as though the sun was setting... Yet my internal clock said it was 9 in the morning... Time zones...

"Umm... Video Editing... Vlog Studies... urhh... Art & Technology... Gaming... And Hardware & Software..." I slowly managed to let out.

"Welp... I'm definitely in the Gaming class... but unfortunately that's all I can help you with there... Feel free to ask me for notes if you ever need to skip class or anything... Could even catch you up on what we learnt last year" It felt as though Cry and I had been friends for years and I couldn't help but feel my cheeks heat up at how polite he was being. But I suppose he always came across as quite a Gentleman in his videos.

"Thank you very much. I may just take you up on that offe---"

"WE'RE HERE!!!!" before I could discuss anything further, Terrance announced at the top of his lungs that we had made it. I almost slam my face against the glass of the car window and gaze out at the campus that surrounded us. There were so many people and the area just looked so safe and friendly. The buildings stood tall and the grass was definitely greener on this side. I just felt like leaping out the car door and just kissing the ground, It was so bloody beautiful.

That's when Cry drove us past a sign that read:
