"Everyone, Please settle down! I really want to get this over with..."

Dan and I turned a corner of the auditorium so we were walking along the hidden back wall, surrounding ourselves with trees in the chilling, night breeze. Phil could be heard off in the distance, hushing a group of the unknown. It really confused me as I couldn't see anyone, including Phil, yet I could hear them. All I could see was the trees, the poorly lit auditorium and the faint outline of Dan slightly ahead of me.

"Now would be a good time to explain to me what is happening..." I whispered for some reason, despite the amount of chatter that could be heard coming from somewhere hidden.

"Well... The Vloggers have meetings quite regularly... we've always had them at night so we wouldn't get caught..." Dan tried to explain, but it felt as though he was too caught up in his own thoughts to string together a full sentence. I could just make out the stern expression that he insisted on having, at this point it was more out of the strain of thinking than anger.

Well...I guess that would explain why everyone got so upset about the new rule... It would also explain why the rule was made in the first place... I'm assuming Pewds may have found out about the meetings and wanted to put an end to them.

"Do the Let's Players have meetings at night too?" I questioned out of curiosity, and also in an attempt to bring Dan back to reality.

"... I wouldn't know..." He mumbled as he stopped at a random point along the wall without warning.

When I had caught up to him, I made my eyes focus on a trap door before us. If Dan hadn't stopped to stare at it, I would have just walked straight over it. It was quite concealed by the overgrown flora surrounding it... oh, and the fact that I couldn't see shit due to the trees shielding most of the starlight. It looked as though it was nothing more than a basement for the auditorium, rickety and old from the elements... nothing particularly special.

Dan managed to crouch down and pull open the wooden frame with ease as the rusting hinges screamed out in pain, revealing a well-lit set of stairs leading to an old looking door. I was almost blinded by the amount of light that was emitted from almost nowhere, Dan seeming to have the same reaction as he squinted, allowing for the trap door to rest on the back wall of the auditorium that continued to sleep under the moon.

"Please don't draw too much attention to yourself. Just sit down and don't do anything stupid. And most importantly, don't speak about whatever has been said in this meeting to anyone else." I looked back to Dan, who was now staring at me, waiting for some sort of response.

"Of course." I said confidently, knowing that it would be the worst idea in the world to deny such things. Dan continued to stare for a few more moments, as if trying to decide whether this was a good idea or not, before walking down the creaky set of stairs to the door. I quickly tip-toed behind, deciding that it would probably be best to stick with him rather than try and pull what I did in class that first day.

I watched as he grabbed the handle confidently waltzed into the small yet crowded room. Dan instinctively smiled as he bounded into the room which began to liven when he joined.

"Dan! Didn't think you were going to show!"

"Hey! There he is!"

"Daannn!"

And he told me not to draw attention to myself...

The room was filled to the brim with all sorts of Vloggers from across YouTube, but considering the amount of people and the size of the room, this wasn't all of them. I would guess there were about 30 to 40 people here... roughly the size of a class. At this point, they were all lazing around, chattering softly despite the orders we heard outside just a few moments earlier.
