🥀 But I got smarter, I got harder in the nick of time
Honey, I rose up from the dead, I do it all the time
I got a list of names, and yours is in red, underlined
I check it once, then I check it twice, oh! 🥀

They flew to Delhi in a private jet. The dinner was a private affair, that was supposed to be kept away from the media and public eye. So it was arranged in the Ranavat Mansion instead. Angana was more excited to meet her in-laws than attending the boring dinner. She was wearing a red saree and minimal makeup.
“You have dressed up a little too much for a formal dinner.” Raghbir commented while wrapping his arm around her waist, out of habit. “You didn't wear waistchain.” He complained when he couldn't touch any chain dangling against her skin.
“Why are you so obsessed with waistchains, Ragh?” Angana asked him while rolling her eyes.
“It keeps my mind occupied and doesn't let me get bored.” He replied.
“That's a pretty dumb answer.” She scrunched her nose in confusion.
“But doesn't it make you feel horny when I'm playing with the chain against your skin?” He asked with smirk.
Angana instantly felt blood rush to her cheeks. It would be a lie if she said no. So she chose to close the topic instead, “Shut up.” And both of them entered the Ranavat Mansion.
Raghbir's parents were sitting in the living hall. The old couple smiled seeing Raghbir and Angana. Angana hugged her mother-in-law and father-in-law who gave her their warm blessings. Raghbir too hugged them.
“Raghbir, you have gained weight.” His mother teased him.
“Aww, thank you so much for your warm blessings, Mom.” Raghbir replied to her with his sarcasm.
His mother turned to Angana, “Angana, I hope he isn't troubling you.”
“No, Mom, he doesn't trouble me that much.” Angana chuckled.
“There's no need to turn my innocent wife against me.” Raghbir protested.
“Okay, okay, why don't you give Angana a quick tour of the house until the guests arrive? She never got the chance to see this house properly,” His mother suggested.
Raghbir put his hand on the small of Angana's back and they made their way upstairs.

His bedroom in Ranavat Mansion was no different than the one at their home. Grey curtains, grey bed, grey bedsheets, grey couch, grey closet. Even the marble on the floor was in the shades of grey. Could anything be more grey than her husband's life? Nope.
“The abundance of grey color in your life has started sickening me.” Angana uttered while entering the balcony.
Raghbir followed her and leaned against the railing. “Grey is the color of balance and neutrality.”
“Grey is also the color of confusion and detachment.” She held his hand in her palm and began caressing it, “You know, you seemed like a walking red flag to me in the beginning.”
Raghbir chuckled, “Well, I am a red flag. No doubt in that.”
“Now that's not something you should be proud of.” She patted on his hand.
“But you love me despite that I have given you a lot of tough times.” And he pinched her cheek with his free hand.
“It was worth it. But now I want to change some things about you.”
