🥀
Long night with your hands up in my hairEchoes of your footsteps on the stairs
Stay here, honey, I don't want to share
'Cause I like you
This ain't for the best
My reputation's never been worse, so
You must like me for me
Yeah, I want you

The next morning, he was waiting for Angana to wake him up with her kisses. But she didn't. He couldn't feel her presence in the room at all. So he finally opened his eyes after long moments of wait. And yes, she was absent from the room.
Raghbir got off the bed lazily. He was already late for the office. But he had an upset wife to look after. So he pulled on random clothes and stepped out of bedroom. The maids were setting breakfast at the dining table but there was only one plate set at the table. Raghbir looked at them questioningly, “Why are you setting only one plate?”
“Sir, Angana Madam had told us to prepare your breakfast before she left.” The middle-aged maid replied.
“Did she tell you where is she going?” He asked.
“She said she is going to Miraya Madam's house.” The maid informed him.
“Alright.” He nodded and headed back upstairs to get ready for the day.
“Sir, aren't you going to eat the breakfast?” The maid asked him as he began walking away.
“No.” He replied without looking back.

Angana was sitting in Miraya's bedroom, wearing a lilac Taylor Swift icon t-shirt and drinking the coffee Miraya had prepared for her. Miraya had just gotten up from sleep when the maid informed her about Angana's arrival. She was surprised but more than that she was concerned. She was waiting when Angana will open up about whatever that made her come to her home without informing Raghbir.
Raghbir's name had just crossed her mind and Miraya got a call from him. She picked up the phone call, looking at Angana for a moment, who just passed her a blank look and concentrated on the cup filled with caffeine instead.
“Hello, Raghbir.” She answered the call.
“What's Angana doing at your place? Is she upset?” His voice held desperation. She could hear the honking of cars, which meant maybe he was driving to her place.
“She...” Miraya paused and glanced at Angana before continuing, “She seems upset. But she hasn't told me anything yet.” She replied to him.
“Okay, I'm on the way to your home.” Raghbir said.
His words reached Angana's ears and she instantly dismissed the idea, “Tell him to go straight to the office. I'll go back home once I feel better. I need some alone time.”
Miraya passed her a puzzled look. She wasn't the best at mending issues between a couple. She was a noob at peacemaking.
“Umm... Raghbir, I hope you heard her.” Miraya said with a hint of pity in her voice.
She heard a sigh from the other side of the call, “Feed her something. She left without having breakfast.” Saying so he cut the call.
“I wonder if he had the breakfast or not?” Angana too began to worry.
