They said the end is coming

Everyone's up to something

I find myself running home to your sweet nothings

Outside, they're push and shoving

You're in the kitchen humming

All that you ever wanted from me was sweet nothing

A week had passed peacefully. Angana had rejoined the party office and rumors of her becoming the CM face were spreading like wildfire.

That morning Raghbir and Angana were having their breakfast when Angana suddenly began feeling like purging out the food she just ate. She put her palm on her mouth and ran to the bathroom of the spare bedroom. Raghbir dropped the toast in his hand and went inside the room looking after her. He held the pallu of her saree and tied her hair in a bun as she ended up puking out the food. When the burning sensation in her stomach died down and she no more felt like vomiting and when her throat had the disgusting aftertaste of vomit, Angana got up and moved to the wash basin. She rinsed her mouth and washed her face, the little makeup from earlier washed down in the process. Raghbir was standing behind her and caressing her arms, trying to calm her down.

“Take a leave, Anaa.” He told her.

Angana was about to refuse but he shushed her, “I'm not asking you. I'm telling you to take a leave.” And he held her hand, taking her to their bedroom upstairs.

He made her sit on the bed and entered the closet. Angana was more than confused when he handed her the pajama set and began removing her jewelry.

“Ragh, what are you doing?” She asked him.

“I'm helping you change. C'mon, wear the pajamas and rest.” Saying so he put her jewelry on the nightstand.

Arguing with him about her health was futile. He won't listen to her. So she did what she was told. He was staring at her as she undressed and wore the pajamas but nothing was sensual about his gaze. He was just waiting to tuck her in bed. Angana huffed in frustration when he wrapped the duvet around her body, making her resemble a teddy bear.

“I'm not a baby, Ragh!” She whined (like a baby.)

“Oh, but you are my baby. And my baby is sick so she will rest. Okay?” He told her in babyish tone and pulled her cheeks before pecking her.

“I will be bored at home. You should also ditch work today.”  She tried to convince him.

“I would love to but I can't.”  But he politely refused.

“How mean of you! You are telling me to ditch work when you clearly won't if I told you to.”  And she hit his chest.

“Anaa, you are sick.”  Raghbir told her calmly.

“But I need some company. I can't stay at home all alone.”

“Okay, I'll ask Aas to come over. Happy?”  He suggested while pulling out his phone to call Aas.

The idea didn't seem bad. Raghbir would be strict with her if he stayed at home. Aas would be easy on her and will even let her order food. And now that the idea of food got involved, it didn't seem bad at all. She could order pizza all day long.

“Umm... okay.” She agreed.

“I'll be home early.” He kissed her forehead and left the room while calling Aas on the way.
