1.Ash's Story (Part 3: Hoenn)

Chapter 51

Since I have the opportunity to challenge the Elite Four, we decide to use Latias and Latios to explore the Hoenn Region once again. When we're at Route 108, we notice an abandoned ship there. And that's when we decide to check it out.

"So this is the famous Sea Mauville..." May says.

"Sea Mauville was once a high-tech base where scientists and engineers dredged for natural resources beneath the water's surface. The facility was abandoned once it became evident that it was slowly falling over into the waves. Once slated for demolition, the half-sunken structure now exists as a refuge for water-dwelling Pokémon, and a popular tourist attraction." Reisa explains.

When we get inside, there are some trainers who are there wanting to battle us, and we decide to enter the ship and we find a lot of rooms in it. There is also a Dive Spot that we decide to go to, and after we dive to the other side of the ship, a man comes and stops us.

"Hey! Little kids over there!" He yells at us. "I came here 'cause my uncle told me that there are extraordinary treasures in this abandoned ship. Don't you know anything about them?"

"We don't know about that..." Minami says. "But treasure sounds cool."

"Well, how would you know... But if you learn anything, tell me, kids. Understand?"

Then we decide to move forward and we find a tuber who holds a key. "I don't know what it is for, but I found a key! But do you want this?"

Then she gives us the Key to Room 1. And that means we have to go back to Room 1, which is where we were just dived to. After we get there, there are some papers on the ground and we find another key in the locker.

"This one is Key to Room 2." I say.

"The room is just next door." Mark says as we head inside. We find two trainers there and they want us to forget what we see, though they give us the Key to Room 6 in exchange.

Once they leave, we find some confidential papers on the ground. "Devon Secret Investigation Report. The development on new energy turned out to be true. The energy that uses Pokémon's bioenergy is called Infinity Energy. Investigation Report on Wattson. A series of actions related to cancellation of the New Mauville Project turned out to be true. I recommend prompt disciplinary action against him as a traitor to our group. Dock Team E Leader, Operative Group —"

"Wattson's a traitor?" Max asks. "That doesn't make any sense..."

"I don't know. But it is obvious that this is not something important now."

We head to Room 6 by diving once more, and once we head there, we notice a bed and a broken cabin. The wall is also broken so that we can actually go outside. And we try to surf nearby to find a fisherman.

"You want something?" When he asks us, I ask, "Did you catch any fish?"

"I don't, but I found this." The fisherman has the Key to Room 4, so we ask for the key and he gives it to us. Then we head back inside and find the Room 4. When we're inside, we finally find the Storage Key, the item for us to open the storage room that we found outside the ship.

And when we get inside, we notice that the strange man from before has been sneaking on us. "Looks like you done good, huh? Youse the one who opened this?"

"So what if we do?" Alice asks.

Then the man looks around and gasps, "Wh-what in the world's this all? They're Nuggets over there! And they're Nuggets over here! This whole joint's packed with Nuggets, ain't it! No wonder the capo was lookin' for this place. What a punch in the gob! Good work here, kids. Now scram."
