the sound of the door opening and closing could be heard through the room, slowly the blondes eyes open trying to focus on the dimly lighted room.
" hey sleepy head. " the raven haired girl says, calmly and a soft smile on her face.
" hey.. " the blonde replies groggily.
the dark haired girl closes the door behind here whilst approaching the vulnerable girl infront of her.
" you have a good sleep? " amber asks whilst caressing the blondes cheek.
" yeah.. feels like i haven't slept in days. " aurora replies , reminiscing on all that's happened today.
" hey, it's all going to be okay ari.. " amber reassures the girl.
" i don't know about that amb. " the girl replies sniffing.
" i'll make sure it's okay. i'll do anything for you ari. " the dark haired girl says , little did aurora know how far amber would go.
both of the girls just stared at eachother in complete awh.
slowly amber leans her head down, both of the girls breaths fanning into each others faces.
amber connects their lips, aurora was in shock and it took her a while for her to even realise what was happening before her, and when she realised she was quick to push amber away.
" no no no i cant do that amber, wes just died. " aurora says panicking.
" we all know that you've always had a thing for me aurora. don't lie. " amber says strongly.
" doesn't mean i wanted to kiss you the same day the love of my life died. " the blonde stutters, her eyes watering.
" hey hey it's okay. " amber says whilst laying onto the bed and cuddling up to the girl, aurora unable to move away which she desperately wanted to do.
after a couple of minutes aurora slowly started to relax into ambers arms.
" it's all going to be okay.. " amber says whilst drawing circles onto the blondes skin.
" everyone is gone. " aurora sniffs.
" i'm not gone , and i won't ever leave you. " the taller girl promises.
" promise? " aurora asks.
" i promise. " amber replies whilst holding her pinky out for the girl to interlock hers with, which she did. the blonde giggles at the sweet gesture.
