- 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 -

ethan pulls the drunk angered girl out of the party by the waist and they both catch up to the group who are following the arguing sisters.

as the two get closer they start to hear the conversation happening between the sisters.

" i cannot believe you did that you embarrassed me. " tara says annoyed whilst panting from walking so fast.

" that guy was a dick. he was ganna take advantage of you. " sam explains whilst following her younger sister.

" so? " tara raises her voice whilst whipping around to face sam.

" so? " sam replies confused.

" if i want to hook up with an asshole that's my decision! it's my decision! " tara says annoyed.

" okay. " sam replies with mockery lacing her voice.

" it's not about you! your out of my life for five years, and then you can't leave me alone for five minutes. " the shorter girl explains.

" because your not dealing with what happened to us! have you even gone to see the counsellor once? " sam questions.

" aurora hasn't and you don't keep nagging her! " tara screams slightly.

" auroras different.. " sam mumbles.

aurora scoffs and walks up next to sam.

" tara don't bring me into your petty sister arguments. " aurora says irritated.

tara ignores the girl and continues there argument " i'm not going to the councillor sam. "

" why not? " sam asks.

" because i'm uninterested in living in the past like you are! " tara answers.

" what's that supposed to mean? " sam says offended.

" guys come on. " chad says softly trying to stop the argument which he knew wouldn't work,

" it means i'm not ganna let what happened to us for three days define the rest of my life. " tara rolls her eyes.

" well tara you didn't lose the three closest people to you. " aurora scoffs.

" so you're just gonna pretend it never happened. " sam says.

" what are you doing here sam? in new york, your working two shitty jobs to help with rent or whatever but what's your plan? " tara questions.

sam doesn't even know how to respond and is lost for a response.

" i know what i'm ganna do okay? because i'm ganna keep doing college in ganna get my degree and i'm ganna live my life. my life! okay i know. " tara explains.

" you just followed me here and you won't let me out of your sight. "

" i'm just trying to look out for you. " sam replies calmly.

" i know. i know you are. you can't do it for the rest of my though. you have to let me go. " tara answers.

" hey! " a random girl calls out.

suddenly the girl throws two drinks on top of aurora and sams heads.

aurora gasps at the cold sticky liquid running down her face hair and body.

" murderers! " the drunks girl shouts.

all the anger and things that happened that night build up from tonight and aurora moves over to the girl quickly and punches her in the nose.

the girl falls to the floor in pain and blood trickles down from her nose.

before aurora can go for another strike the same comforting arms wrap round her waist for the second time that night and pulls her away.

" you guys should stay away from them! they know what they did! " the drunk girl says whilst walking away with her fiends who were holding a camera up.

" we didn't fucking do anything! " sam screams and trys to pounce on the girl but is pushed back by mindy and chad.

" fuck off you nasty sluts! " aurora screams out at the three girls walking away.

ethan giggles at the girls comment and slowly releases his hold on the girl.

" you need to stop punching people rory. " ethan says trying to be serious but a soft smile is on his lips whilst he says it.

" but if i didn't punch people then you wouldn't wrap your arms around me.. " aurora smirks before walking away to catch up to tara.

ethan stands there bright red and dumbfounded by the girl and watches her walk away mesmerised by her.
