Authors Note

Sorry to excite some of you by thinking there is an update but I feel like I need to address some comments I received on the previous chapter instead of responding to them individually. 

First and foremost: I am a fanfiction writer. I write for free during my days off. I do not have an editor, beta, or other oversight on my writing. I do this because I love to write. I work full time as a nurse in a hospital. I am actually writing this authors note on my phone at work right now. This is a hobby and I do not owe anyone anything as much as my inner people pleaser would like to disagree.

Second. If do not like the direction my story is going in or something that I have put into the story, you have a couple of options. The first is to go read something else, because this is my creative vision. The second is you can volunteer to be my beta, I don't have one on any of my stories, feel free to come edit for no pay as I write for no pay. Third is you can join my Facebook group and interact with how this story is being written. We do a lot of polls in the group to see what people want. Most of chapter 23 was written based on the feedback I received from the people in my Facebook group. We also have a group chat on the Facebook group where we Socratic Circle discuss what I am going to be writing, what people want to see, their opinions, and even discuss the validity of any negative comments I receive. 

Third. This is a work of fiction set in a fictional world. Trying to hold it to historical standards is a little stupid. On the other hand maybe some of you need to brush up on monarch based history? Because royalty has often and commonly been held to needing to be virgins prior to marriage, especially the women. There is a reason the court would publically watch the first time a king would have sex with his new queen and it was to make sure she bled, because if she didn't then she wasn't a virgin. 

Fourth. Some of this will be addressed in the next chapter but Haylan is still at his core orphan Harry Potter. Yes he is emperor but he was raised as a muggle till he was 11 and a half blood common wizard till he was 14. Narcissa, Sirius, Tonks, and Andromeda are more than just advisors. They are the only family he has. Of course he is going to value their opinions. Also he has said in previous chapters that just because he wasn't raise as a proper wizard he doesn't mean he doesn't  want to respect and follow Wizarding culture, because he very much wants to do so. He wants to respect Wizarding traditions even if they are vastly different from muggle modern day thought because he lives in the Wizarding world not the muggle one. Also it was mentioned in chapter 23 that the vows that Blaise and Haylan are going to use will be stronger if they are chaste. But I will go more in depth on these topics in the next chapter, if you still don't like it feel free to go read something else. 

I hope this clarifys some things and if not maybe the next chapter will.
