Anu and Maya stared at a man, attempting to fish out his wallet. He was failing terribly. Anyone, who hadn't been witness to the previous exchanges between himself and the stall owner, would believe that he was simply scratching his butt and trying to be subtle about it.

Maya bit back her laughter, trying to look elsewhere. Anu watched on, amused.

Behind them, Vineet brought them snacks.

"I got you guys your snacks. What are you watching?"

Maya was trying her hardest not to laugh. Her shoulders trembled and her her eyelids were shut tight. Her lips were aligned in a weird manner.

Anu let out a small sigh and pointed at the man, who had been their entertainment for the past 15 minutes. Vineet observed him. "He seems familiar..."

Anu tilted her head. The man glanced around, looking a little helpless. "You're right. He does look familiar."

The three stared on. The man was finally successful. He had asked the shopkeeper to hold on to the sticks with potato crisps on it and employed both hands in fetching the wallet.

Happily, paying for his snack, he took back ownership of the stick and started walking away. Vineet's eyes widened. "Dad...?"

Maya's head whipped to Vineet's, in horror.

"Wait a minute, that was your dad?"

Anu's hands clapped together. "No wonder he felt familiar! That was your dad!"

Vineet immediately bent below the bench, hiding from the view of his father. Anu's head tilted again. Maya's eyes trained on Vineet's dad's suspicious movements. "Hm...He only bought one stick. So, he wasn't buying for the entire family. Weird. He keeps glancing around as well...Say, Vineet, was your dad not supposed to have these kind of deep-fried snacks?"

"Ah yeah, he had an upset stomach the other- Oh! He isn't supposed to have those crisps!" Vineet's head whipped up, his eyes wide as saucers.

Anu blinked.

"So it's not just you being mischievous in your family, eh?"
