Episode 8: "Heated"

POV: Ethan

The last thing i saw is adrianna helping sophia out of the arena. "Guys let's go" i shouted during the chaos of everyone rushing out trying to save theirselves.

We all try to rush to the headmasters office, but out of nowhere we got surrounded by Shadow Monsters. "This isn't looking good... what should we do?" Reese asked.

"They are after me... you guys run I'll try to hold them off" Adrian said.

"Do you have a death wish there is no way we're letting you fight whatever these things are on your own" William said.

"Speak for yourself, I'm too pretty to die" Cherry said.

One of them suddenly lunge at us but reese got infront us building a fire wall... it shierks in pain as the rest seems to back off not wanting anything to do with the bright light. "They are afraid of light reese keep that up for as long as you can" Adrian said as reese just nodded in response flaring his magic making the fire burn hotter and brighther than before.

"What are you planning to do?" Raven asked.

"Teleport us out of here... i haven't used my teleportation that much so I'll try" he said closing his eyes concentrating. Black bolts of lighting started to surround him as a vortex appeared to our left. "Now i don't know where we'll end up but i hope it's far enough lets go!" Adrian said as they all jumped into into it one by one.

"Surrender and let us devour you... your mother is still alive" One of the monsters spoke stopping adrian in his tracks.

"Adrian let's go!" I said.

"My mother is alive?" He asked.

"Yes she's just living the rest of her life in pain and agony if you give us your light we'll tell you how to free her" it said.

"Bullsh** you guys got out because we had the vortex open for far too long last year and you trying to fool me into knowing you know how to free my mom? I'll destroy you guys and send you back where you came from 1 by 1 and free my mom on my own now that i know she is alive" Adrian said grabbing my hand as we jumped in.

*later*

We teleported to adrian's dad office. "What took you guys so long we thought the monsters got to you?" Cherry said.

"I don't know how they got through the schools ward unless.... someone within our school is helping them" Dad said. " but only me and Sub-Head mistress Fekta can disable the ward when we want" Dad added pasing back and forth.

"What are you doing here?" Adrian asked looking at alejandro who held sophia in support.

"I saved your sister and your friends life you should be thanking me" Alejandro said as adrian walked up close facing of with him.

He tore alejandro hands off sophia holding sophia for himself. "Thank you but I'll take over from here you are irrelevant and unwanted you may now leave" Adrian said helping sophia to sit.

POV: William

Both Adrian and Alejandro glared at each other their glares could cut the room in pieces... just then i heard a slap. "Ow! Dad!!! What was that for?" Adrian said holding his head.

"You both are acting childish" Mr. Victor said as alejandro just stayed silent holding his head down. "This is bad i thought it would be a one time thing but it looks we'll have to resort to drastic measures" Mr. Victor added.

"Drastic measures?" Ethan asked.

"We will have to reopen the vortex and send them back in.... but a descendant of light will have to sacrifice themself and enter" Dad said as everyone eyes turn to me and my sister. "Which will not happen i won't lose another person i love so we'll have to try finding another way" he added.

Suddenly everything went silent.... the monster noises we could have heard and the people's scream suddenly came to a stop. "You guys hear that?" Raven asked. "Looks like the monsters are gone" she added as we all exit to see people looking around confused, some attending to the injured while some had an emotional breakdown after what just happened.

"This can't go on we'll have to shut down school next week and see what can be done to stop these creatures from appearing again" Dad said. "For now I'll have to hold a press conference and tell these people the truth" he added.

Somewhere in the shadows

"Good! You've created enough damage now they'll learn to fear me" A dark voice said.

"Thanks dad" Jalen said as his eyes turn a low shade of purple.

"Now get back out there and earn the Royal Heirs trust" The voice said.

A/N: Jalen isn't who he say he is?! Who is he? And who is behind that dark and ominous voice and what are they planning?
