CHAPTER SEVENTEEN
The province celebrated the spring festival. This time, all curses have been lifted, and happiness has returned to everyone. The ceremonies were successful. King Yaswant and Rani Nanda were finally relieved because they could see how happy King Taeho was after all those events. He has gone through a lot at such a young age. They are getting ready to return to India after the ceremonies are over. The love and attention they have shown to King Taeho made him extremely happy and grateful. They send their daughter to his rescue. The enemies would have suspected the secret plan if it were Prince Tejas in place of Padma because he was already known to everybody there. The Indian family came to bid their farewells. They hugged each other and wished to meet him soon.
Princess Tejaswini maintained a serious stance throughout. She is the commander-in-chief. She was in her official attire. Her face displayed the elegance she possessed. He now understood the significance of her short hair. She might become uncomfortable during the swordplay. But when Prince Tejas saw her at his palace, why did he inquire about it? Maybe to persuade their adversaries that they were not related. It might be a part of the play. Everyone did a good job of playing their parts and left no traces.
It was all for him.
He talked with the king and queen. Prince Tejas asked for an apology as the siblings pretended that they never knew each other.
To that, Taeho replied, "I can understand that. I am forever grateful to you, my friend." They hugged each other.
He then walked over to Princess Tejaswini and said, "Thank you for everything that you've done for me. No words could ever convey my gratitude to you. And I hope you will remember us."
"Your majesty. I completed my mission. Now I may go back to my home. Thank you." She replied without any sort of emotion. She mounted her horse and started riding without replying to the king's proposal.
He knows her very well, maybe more than he knows about himself. It was as if she were a part of him. She loves him. She's pretending that she has no interest. But he is happy now. Her parents would be very happy when they learned about his love for their daughter.
He loved her before he knew who she was, and he still does. Love hasn't changed.
He would love to worship her like a goddess. She is one of a kind. The Indian royals went back to their country. Now that many more months have passed, everything is going well and happily. King Taeho was unable to stop thinking about his Padma, the woman he worships and who he has an unwavering love for. He decided that he would pay a visit to King Yaswant's province. He was preparing for the trip. A messenger came to him and conveyed that Prince Tejas had arrived to meet him.
