CHAPTER EIGHTEEN
His brother...
He became happy and went to welcome him. Both friends met after a long time. Prince Tejas has now arrived to invite his friend to his marriage. He is going to get married to the woman he loves, the princess he mentioned earlier. Taeho was happy to hear that. He considered discussing his love as well. Prince Tejas felt that he had something to say and asked, "Is there anything that you want to tell me? What is it?"
Taeho was hesitant at first, but later he thought to speak up.
"It is about Padma, I mean Princess Tejaswini," he said, then continued to tell the whole story. With a smile on his face, Prince Tejas carefully listened to him. He could tell how passionate he was by the look in his eyes. Prince Tejas was happy to hear that.
"I loved her as Padma, but when I came to know about her, not only did I love her even more, but I also respected her. I hope your parents will be happy about this relationship."
"Definitely! They would agree to this marriage. Our father would be the happiest. Padma is our gem. She is a talented warrior who received her training from our grandfather. She possesses unique abilities, and I am actively attempting to learn new things from her."
He started to sing the praises of his beloved sister—about her wit, goodness, and other qualities. King Taeho was determined that she was a pure soul. Prince Tejas then departed after inviting the king to his wedding. He also promised to talk to his parents about this issue. He was confident that this would mark the start of his happy family life.
King Taeho travelled to India a few weeks later to attend his friend's wedding. His joy was beyond his ability to control. He saw Princess Tejaswini in her traditional attire. A woman full of grace and elegance, reflecting ethnic Indian beauty. He couldn't take his eyes off her. He was mesmerised by how she carried herself. He went to greet the king and queen.
They knew about his love for Padma and were happy to have him as their son-in-law. Princess Tejaswini appeared to be tough while engaging with Taeho. She pretended that she was uninterested in initiating a conversation with him. The family found her behaviour strange. Padma and other dancers performed a traditional dance style as part of the wedding ceremony. Taeho was immersed in her performance. He liked the music, which was played with a variety of instruments. He overheard the princes of other provinces complimenting her while she performed.
