Glenda's POV:

Both me and Hannah had our mouths hanging open at how big this place was. I looked very modern and had flowers everywhere. "Um are you sure you got the right people Hannah?" She immediately started going through her papers then turned to me. " It's the right place so yes we have the right people." It was then that we saw a women step outside followed by seven boys. I could only presume was my father's wife and my brothers.

I then decided that it was time to stop hiding in the car and go greet the people I would spent the next 4 years, three months and 11 days with. I got out and so did Hannah, as usual I let her lead the way. "Hi are you Mia Russo wife of Dario Rizzo," Hannah asked the women. The women smiled before saying," Yes I'm Mia you must be Hannah the social worker." It was at that moment one of the boys decided to say something.

"Why the fuck is a social worker here," a guy who I would guess to be eighteen said. While I wanted to say something about the language I got distracted trying to figure out if his eye were green or brown. "Fio enough," said the man who looked the oldest. He looked at me with adoration and pity though I don't know why.

After Mrs. Rizzo shot a glare at the boy I now know is Fio she came over to me giving me a big hug. "It's so nice to meet you Glenda, and we are so happy your going to live with us," Mia gushed. I wasn't sure that she was being sincere. "Thank you Mrs. Russo for allowing me to stay in your home," I said only for her smile to drop and a hint of hurt cross her face. " Glenda please call me Mia and its your home now too, now let's all go in shall we."

Mia's Pov:

When she stepped out of the car I nearly stopped breathing she looked like a female doll version of Dario and Gianni. Her eyes were large and round the color of fresh spring grass, and her nose was so cute and dainty. Her skin was so pale and clear it could have been mistaken as porcelain, and she was so tiny being short and almost skin and bone. As for her hair she definitely needed a hair cut and better products but it was so long and pitch black.

It wasn't until the social worker spoke that I even noticed her which is unusual for me. "Hi are you Mia Rizzo wife of Dario Rizzo," the social worker had said. I assessed the women quickly before speaking. She looked about Sandro's age and was very pretty with her short red hair, hazel eyes, and tanned freckled skin. "Yes I'm Mia you must be Hannah the social worker."

It was at that moment my son decided to make an outburst which Sandro reprimanded him for but that doesn't mean he is off the hook. My boys were taught not to intruppt the elders in the family. I decided to move on but not before I caught the slightly confused look on Glenda's face. It was then I noticed she was looking at Fio's eyes, everyone always had trouble telling weather his eyes were green or brown.

I couldn't help it anymore and rushed to give her a big hug before saying, "It's so nice to meet you Glenda, and we are so happy your going to live with us." I could see hope but also distrust in her eyes at my words. "Thank you Mrs. Rizzo for allowing me to stay in your home," she said in a very soft and sweet voice. I was a little saddened that she called me Mrs. Rizzo not that I expected her to call me mom right now or even at all but it just felt so distant being called Mrs. Rizzo.

"Glenda please call me Mia and its your home now too, now let's all go in shall we." I could already tell that she was going to try to keep her distance until she turns eighteen and then would probably immediately leave us. Once we headed inside I could tell she was struggling to take in her surroundings.

We sat down before I said," Your father couldn't make it as he had a important meeting but he will be here later you will probably see him in the morning." She just nodded her understanding and I gave a smile, "Why don't we all introduce ourselves I will go first and then oldest to youngest your last Glenda." She looked up and just slightly to my left past me before saying "okay" in a barely audible whisper.

"As you know I'm Mia Rizzo, I'm 45 and the wife of your father, these are my sons." I said pointing towards my boys. The boys then went to introduce themselves. "Hello Sorella, I'm Sandro Rizzo your oldest brother and I'm 25." Then my next boy, "Hi Piccolo, Tullio Rizzo I'm 23 and I'm going to be your favorite brother." At that I heard a soft laugh come from her.

"Ciao Tesoro I'm Dante Rizzo and I'm 23 I hope you come to like living here," he said which Glenda gave a soft smile to. "I'm Brio and this is my older twin Fio were 18." The twins said not looking up front their phones which had me fuming. " Hello Sorellina I'm the best out of your brothers my name is Livivo Rizzo and I'm 16." Next was my youngest boy, " Hey gattina I'm Gianni and I'm 14."

At that Glenda perked up, "Gianni when is your birthday?" I was confused as to why she asked this and so was Gianni but he answered anyways. "My birthday is November 18." She just nodded and said," well I guess it's my turn, My name is Glenda Rose Albury I'm 14 and my birthday is November 21st." It was shocking to learn that she was only three days younger than Gianni and you could see his face practically drain of color before he excused himself from the room. I decided that was enough for right now and told Glenda I would show her to her room and give her a tour later.
