Fio pov:

Why is it that I am forced to go pick Glenda up. She has been a pain I'm my side since the day she came into our home. Mom keeps saying she will be gone soon and not to worry to much.

I drive up to the hospital entrance and instantly spot her, instead of calling out to her I flash my brights. The confusion is written all over her face. "Hi," she whispers before getting into the passenger seat. "Just so you know I was forced to come get you," I tell her she just nods. Well I guess that's my cue to start heading home.

We had been driving for almost five minutes and were fifteen minutes from home when three cars start spending towards us. "Glenda keep your head down and away from the window," I tell her trying not to freak her out. Though it's to late for that when she hears a gunshot. I keep watch outside as I start speeding though the streets in an attempt to get away.

Probably would've been smart to have taken dad's offer for defensive driving. I had managed to lose two of the cars but the third was getting to close. The car hits us and pushes us into the intersection. Next thing I know I see a car coming our way on Glenda's side.

I woke up about an hour ago and tried to open my eyes but couldn't. I could hear the door open and two sets of foot steps. "What the hell was that," I hear my mother shriek. I wanted to open my eyes and look at who she could be talking to. "You were supposed to kill her, this is the second time you have failed to kill her Bruce," my mother hiss at the man.

"What's it matter 'Mia' or should I call you Mel," the man growled out. I knew this voice even if I hadn't ever meet him in person. Uncle Bruce Costa the supposedly dead uncle. I heard a slap ring out." Don't ever call me that again," she said sounding full of rage.

I felt a strong hand touch my arm, "I'm glad I failed and you should be too," Uncle said. I heard her scoff before she plopped down in a chair. "I nearly killed our son in that wreck, what was he even doing in that car," Bruce said sounding extremly frustrated. "Bruce what's it matter even if Fio died we would still have a son, or did you forget about Brio," Mel said just before she left the room.

I laid there for hours before my room door slammed open. "Your alive," Brio screams out his face covered in tears and snot. My father pulls me up and squeezes me. "Were is Glenda," I ask Livivo. He doesn't answer me just walks to the other side of the room and moves a curtain. I couldn't muster any anger I never hated her mom did, my eyes well with tears. Everyone soon left and it wasn't until late in the night that she finally woke up.
