Today, I came to work wearing makeup and huge fake eyelashes, because I wanted to be attractive and learn how to do my makeup. But these stupid eyelashes made my eyes feel heavy, and I couldn't stop blinking.
Later, in the cafeteria, I was standing in the corner waiting for Sharpay. One of my coworkers came up to me. So, I looked at him as he approached. I noticed something on his upper lip. He had ketchup on it. Eww! Gross.
"Hey, Athena, I saw you in the meeting today," he said, seeming a little shy.
"Ah, okay. I saw you too, buddy… but first, you got something right here." Saad ko, sabay ang turo sa upper lip ko para malaman nya na may ketchup sya doon.
Out of nowhere, my coworker pulled me close and tried to kiss me. Napaatras agad ako and to my raged I pushed him away and punch him hard.
"What the heck, Athena!" he shouted angrily.
Everyone in the cafeteria turned to look at us. I was still fuming, but he was playing innocent, which made me even angrier. When Sharpay arrived, she immediately came over to me and asked,
"What happened?" Sharpay asked.
"He's a pervert!" I snapped, pointing at the coworker who had harassed me.
"Pervert? You kept winking at me during the entire meeting, and then you asked me to kiss you, then you hit me?!" he shouted angrily.
"Are you moron? Anong sinasabi mo dyan? Tinuro ko yung upper lip ko kasi may ketchup ka sa bibig. Hindi ko sinabi na halikan mo ako! Pervert!" Bulyaw ko. Pinakalma ako ni Sharpay at hinila nya ako papunta sa upuan saka pinaupo.
"Bakit ka kasi naglagay ng ganyang fake eyelashes? Kung ako din ang titignan mo at wink ka ng wink iisipin ko din na inaakit mo ako." Paliwanag ni Sharpay saka sya natawa. Hindi ako nakaimik, kinuha ko nalang ang bottle water at uminom.
Nang kumalma na ang pakiramdam ko. Nagpasama ako sa kay Sharpay sa washroom para tanggalin yung fake eyelashes. Hindi ko pa man natatanggal yung isang fake eyelashes sa left eye ko nang napatingin kami ni Sharpay sa speaker.
Pinapatawag ako sa office ni Jade Montemayor. Shit! Mukang nagsumbong na yung pervert na yun sa boss namin. Pagdating ko sa office ni Jade Montemayor, na sense ko agad na mapapagalitan ako at gaya nang inaasahan ko napagalitan nga ako.
"That was one of the best coders, and you've made him leave!" he shouted angrily.
"Well, he hit on me first, like, I mean he was hitting on me, and it was gross," I argued.
"Are you sure? Why would anyone want to hit on you?" he asked, sounding unconvinced by my explanation.
Magsasalita pa sana ako, when Jade walked away na parang ayaw na nyang makinig pa sa mga sasabihin ko, kaya napabuntong hininga nalang ako.
