~ once upon a time, i fell in love with a person who didn't love me back. the end ~

Soobin's POV

I just signed myself up for death. Oh well, I was going to die anyways.

"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, CHOI SOOBIN?!" I hear Yeonjun hyung yell out to me.

"Since hanahaki is going to kill me, why not die now?" I counter, shrugging my shoulders as tears drop out from his [Yeonjun] eyes. It's no use, asking me what I'm doing; it's not like it's going to make Yeonjun love me back.

The masked person walks up to me. "Well Mr Choi Soobin, I'll come back tomorrow morning to kill you. I still have errands to run. Also if you want to be sure, I will not kill you before hand. no surprise attacks, no nothing"

"And how do I trust you?" I ponder, stalling for a bit of time.

"Maybe because I murdered a lot of people, obviously. Who wouldn't trust me?" the killer manically laughs creating an eerie atmosphere. With that, the male left us [TXT] inside the abandoned factory.

(author's pov)

"Soobin hyung, I don't think that it would be a very good idea" Beomgyu admits, looking up to Soobin with teary eyes.

"And why do you care?" Soobin asks, glaring at Beomgyu.

"Because there must be another way out" Beomgyu says in a hushed tone. "If we have photo shoots tomorrow and we're not there then, staff will come looking for us. We just need to stall for longer"

"Beomgyu hyung, good thinking but they both have hanahaki and they are bound to die so what happens if it's too late to make it to the hospital. We need to help them live as long as possible" Huening Kai responds, looking at both Soobin and Taehyun who are a good ten metres apart.

"Don't worry about me. I'm fine to die. I'm just a loser in this game" Soobin says, carelessly making hand gestures.

"As long as I get to see him die first then I'm good to die as well" Taehyun freely remarks as he is given multiple looks. "And I mean it" (sorry for making Taehyun this type of person)

"Both of you, please. Just stop already. Stop being childish" Beomgyu pleas.

"You know what, let me get killed, I can't stand Soobin" Taehyun declares, sending fiery eyes to Soobin and then rolls his eyes.

"Fine by me" Soobin mutters, making the situation they are in, even worse.

For the rest of the night, the group of five sat in two small groups of three and two. Yeonjun, Beomgyu and Huening Kai in one group while Soobin and Taehyun sat (or more like social distanced from each other) together in the other small group. The group of three had somehow convinced Soobin and Taehyun to sit with each other to try and 'mend' the friendship.

"I don't want to lose any of them" Yeonjun says, looking at Soobin and Taehyun who are isolating themselves from each other.

"Don't worry. We will find a way out of here one way or another" Huening Kai and Beomgyu comfort the elder.

(if you're wondering why Yeonjun or Beomgyu didn't use their 'weapons' is because the door and the living room is conjoined and the killer could see Yeonjun waking Beomgyu up and it would be too much of a risk if they did anything)

"We will save them" Beomgyu assures, patting his hyung's back and letting him [Yeonjun] wipe his tears on his [Beomgyu] sleeve. "We will Jun, I'm sure we will"
