~ but 'just friends' don't look at each other like that ~

The howling sound of the wind becomes unbearable. The sound of heavy rain falling on the roof. The heavy sound of lightening striking. The grumbling of the clouds as the sky got darker and darker.

Soft crying can be heard. The gentle sounds of someone trying to suppress their tears from creating a scene. How Soobin knew this all too well. He suddenly feels himself walking towards Yeonjun's door, but then, he hears the sound of someone comforting him. Someone who he isn't. The someone who he wishes to be. The someone who he will never be.

Walking back to his room with a heavy heart, he realises something, something he should have realised ages ago. Yeonjun didn't need him anymore, he [Yeonjun] had Beomgyu now; they have each other. As realisation hits harder than a ton of bricks, Soobin feels his heart become even more heavier. Tears making a path on his cheeks. His sobs gradually mixes in with in with the sound of rain, then, the rain sounds overtake his cries.

'i see you have finally realised the truth' the voice remarks

Soobin gave no response but more sobs.

'ready to forget him?' the voice asks

Soobin shakes his head as more tears flow onto his already soaked pillow.

"I can't" Soobin's lips tremble with every word. "I just can't"

'i can help you' the voice offers

"How?" Soobin ponders.

'simple, get the surgery or just stop looking at him like he's yours, cause he's not and find someone else' the voice demands

The room is met with silence from both parties.

"I don't want to" Soobin argues, coughing as more bloodied branches come out.

'well you have to. you're dying' the voice restates, earning a groan of annoyance from Soobin

"But friends don't look at each other like that" Soobin rebuts.

"Yes well he's clearly in love with Beomgyu whilst you're in love with him. It doesn't matter what you do, if he has his heart set on some one else, it won't change. It doesn't matter how loud you show your love if he isn't listening' the voice tries to reason who the stubborn leader

"Just fuck off and let me sleep" Soobin exclaims, swatting his hands in the air to brush off the 'devil'

"Morning everybody" Soobin cheerfully exclaims as he walks into the lounge room, only to be greeted with four people who have frowns plastered across their faces. "What's with the long faces?"

Yeonjun just shoves his phone into Soobin's hands before going back to Beomgyu who is cocooned in a blanket. (for anyone pondering, Beomgyu has recovered and is not sick, just tired)
