Daisy felt his eyes on her before looking up embarrassed.
- Look where you are going - Caleb said.
- I'm sorry - she answered flustered - And I'm sorry about the other day too, I was upset.
Caleb raised his dark eyebrows but showed no emotion towards her words.
- So you are still with that douchebag? - he whispered pointing at Justin a few feet away.
Daisy looked at her boyfriend from behind and smiled, he was having fun.
- Yeah - she said happily and stood on her tiptoes to get closer to his left ear and whispered slowly - That's none of your business.
Her words lingered in the air between her lips and Caleb's neck, even after she walked away back to her boyfriend with a beer in her hands. She drank out of it and put her hands around Justin's neck, pulling him closer. She could see Caleb looking at her from afar and she smiled before leaning in and kissing Justin, one time, another one. Somewhere along the way she lost count. It was a dance that both of them had done a million times, laughing and kissing all over each other. When she looked up to catch her breath Caleb was gone.
- Get a room guys - Rebecca chuckled walking away.
Justin ignored her and grabbed Daisy's waist dancing along to the music.
Caleb saw her looking at him before kissing her boyfriend, her hands were moving around his neck and on his blonde hair. He rolled his eyes and saw James calling him from across the room. Perfect timing. He went towards him, dodging sweaty and drunk people left and right.
- Come here, man - James said - and look at that.
He was pointing at Nick. He was sitting on the couch talking to a redhead girl. Nick was actually really shy with girls. He was a really nice guy but he never had much luck on getting with them. Probably because of his shyness he never made the first move.
A few moments before that Nick saw a girl on the couch, she was alone, kinda vibing with the music. She had a shot in her hands and Nick thought it was funny how she hesitated to take it.
He sat next to her and filled a shot glass with tequila.
- Look at this - Nick took the salt container and put a little bit of it in his hand and licked it.
- What are you doing? - the redhead said giggling.
He raised the tequila shot and downed the tequila
- It lessens the burn on your throat - Nick said after drinking it. - Trust me.
She smiled, licked a pinch of salt and reluctantly got the shot next to her lips. Nick nodded at her to give her confidence.
- I did it! You were right. - she said a few seconds later excitedly - I don't usually drink, you know?
- You don't have to do it if you don't want to. - Nick told her.
- Yeah, but I want to go out of my comfort zone, by the way, I'm April - she said - And thanks for the tip
- Nick, you are welcome.
He felt James and Caleb's eyes on him from behind but decided to ignore it, they were probably making fun of him. He didn't care.
- So is this your first college party, April? - Nick asked, angling his body in her direction.
- Yes, my friends kind of dragged me along - she replied looking around for them, but only saw Daisy dancing with Justin on the other side of the room. - You?
