{13. Starting out}

The gaze you and bakugou shared lasted almost lasted forever...

There was a certain emotion in his deep crimson eyes that you couldn't quite make out. But whatever it was, it made him look... well less intimidating, to you at least.

Before long you realized that eye contact with someone who was a higher rank than yourself;f could be considered wrongly so you immediately looked down at the ground. It completely slipped your mind that he was a alpha.. and powerful one at that. God what does he think of you right now? Maybe he just sees you as some helpless omega...

But before you could even apologize for your rudeness you heard a rough voice call your name..

"Y/n right?' Bakugou spoke up.

You just nodded, but you couldn't help but tremble. It was a bad habit of yours, but you didn't think it was that noticeable.

You heard footsteps heading your way, which caused you to tense up. Your heart started to race in your chest, to the point it felt like it would explode. It must have been obvious because you heard the footsteps stop in place.

"Oi, look at me....." bakugou said, trying to seem calming. But he wasn't really used being "calm", and being comforting also wasn't his thing.. but he could try at least.

You just mumbled to yourself, before just barely lifting up your head to meet his gaze again. I mean... he did say it was okay right? But how would he even look at your bruised face.... You knew you weren't appealing to the eye so it wouldn't surprise you if he just snapped at you suddenly.

So you waited.... You waited for him to do something..... yelling, shouting, scolding, hell even hitting. You just wanted him to do something, anything just so you didn't have to sit here dead silent.

But... he didn't do any of that. He just sat down on a stool and looked at you with a softened gaze.

You didn't understand why he wasn't doing anything. Just sitting there staring at you as if he was trying to figure you out..

"Oi.. How are you feeling.." Bakugou mumbled, at least being able to ask a simple question, without yelling.

You didn't answer at first still surprised that he didn't seem like anything you heard of about him... he seemed like a different person.. but you pushed that a side before snapping back to reality and tilted your head off the side.

"I-i-im fine...."' You mumbled., as you caressed your own bandage up hand.

Bakugou just narrowed his eyes before running a hand through his hair, not really good at this type of thing.

"I said you could look at me... im not planing on doing anything to you.."

"B-but the rumors...."

"Tch, the rumors you probably heard are still true, but im a alpha... not a monster..

You just grumbled a bit before looking at up at him.

"S-sorry...alpha.." You mumbled. You knew you didn't have to say sorry, but you were no better than the rest of your pack if You judged someone because of a rumor..

"Don't say sorry, i hear the word to much.." he scoffed looking off to the side.

You didnt know how to reply to that, so you just nodded. To think a alpha of such power was even showing you any form of kindness made you want more.... It became a bit addictive. But you knew it was only because you never had anyone show it to you before.

Bakugou had thoughts of his own also, he wanted to know who gave you those wounds, who was opal to you, and why.. but he knew asking something like that would make him an idiot. So until he got to know you a bit more, he would ask.

But soon another thing came to mind and just sighed.

"Hey... since your still recovering, should i get you some clothes..." bakugou mumbled and leaned back.

"I... well..... s-s-sure but I don't know w-w-where they went.."

"Don't worry about it.. ill ask my shitty furred beta.." bakugou mumbled as he stood up.

"Also one more thing, don't call me alpha.. bakugou is just fine.' He mumbled and walked out the room

And just like that he was gone. And you were once again by yourself. When he left you couldn't help but feel some sort of connection that left with him. Maybe it was your imagination from being so wounded... but... one thing for  sure.

You saw him differently now..
